Am I the only one who likes these late games. (wouldn't like this to be the normal start time) Reason why I like the late games is there are fewer distractions and also I have a lot of good memories from late games

New lineup is indeed a go tonight.

Hopefully this is the combo that jumpstarts the season and leads to a winning streak.

LETS GO PACERS! I haven't had much time to watch or listen to the games, but I'm going to listen on the Sirius while I get my homework done. :(

I dislike the late games on the weekdays because they keep me from doing any work or hanging out. I'm pretty much eating and snacking til nine or so. Also, my roommate sleeps ridiculously early so that's b****; you can't yell at the computer too loud. On the weekends you don't really get to go out if you have to monitor the Pacers. And if the Pacers lose you try to drink the pain away. Maybe its a generational thing.

I gotta say, the new lineup looks good so far. I like the way we're starting.

Of course, it is the Blazers we're talking about.

Anthem
11-28-2006, 10:20 PM
Man, Foster's playing well on D. That's two fastbreaks in the same minute, both started by Jeff.

Tinsley runs the break well.

Anthem
11-28-2006, 10:21 PM
Boom Baby!

EDIT: Rimout by Tinsley. We've had a couple like that... looked good then rimmed out.

EDIT 2: Holy cow, look how many empty seats there are. That's crazy.

Pacers off to a good start for once.

ajbry
11-28-2006, 10:22 PM
Decent start, but we've already given up 5 offensive boards.

Anthem
11-28-2006, 10:23 PM
Holy cow, Tinsley can seriously pass the ball.

Stupid turnover by Saras. No reason for that, except that he couldn't handle the ball.

Quarter ends, Blazers up 24-21.

AesopRockOn

We're not down ten; I guess it's a good sign.

Here come the Pacers I remember...

bnd45
11-28-2006, 10:37 PM
Good 7 or 8 minutes, and then we finished the quarter horrbily.

Down 3 is improvement from the double figure holes we've been digging.

Anthem
11-28-2006, 10:40 PM
In theory, I like this unit... Foster-Harrington-Granger-Daniels-Saras. We'll see how it works.

Great block by Granger!

Anthem
11-28-2006, 10:43 PM
Hard to believe Outlaw's only 22. Seems like he's been in the league forever.

Anthem
11-28-2006, 10:47 PM
Man, you can really tell when Jermaine comes into the game.

Good job by Armstrong to find Sarunas.

Anthem
11-28-2006, 10:49 PM
I'm really hoping that was supposed to be a pass by Saras.

rimock31
11-28-2006, 10:53 PM
Saras has 5 assists and 1 turnover, can't ask for much more from him. This second unit looks good. Granger looks more comfortable in this role. Ideally, u want a little more out Quis tho, i don't know what's with him lately. Good thing we have DA to provide the energy that he lacks

bnd45
11-28-2006, 10:57 PM
I like the new bench: Granger, Sarunas, Quis/DA

Anthem
11-28-2006, 11:03 PM
Holy cow. Jermaine could go for a triple-double tonight.

Anthem
11-28-2006, 11:06 PM
Hilarious. That's great gimmick D by Tinsley.

AesopRockOn

Winning at halftime. Good D on Randolph. Danny still shooting threes....but making them. Hopefully this will be stressless.

Holy cow. Jermaine could go for a triple-double tonight.

With the way JO is playing this season, I'd really like to see the "this team is better with JO" talk put to rest. He is finally playing on a level that we've all been waiting on. He's scoring well, blocking like crazy, passing better, and remains a pretty good rebounder (though could use some boxing-out teaching).

Good to see Granger already in double figures, he's obviously more comfortable in a 6th man role for now.

And what's this!? A lead at halftime!!!???!?!?! Sell all your earthly possessions and do that one last thing you've always wanted to do, because the end of the world is near!!!

ajbry
11-28-2006, 11:10 PM
Wow, we're actually ahead after the first half. This should be a piece of cake. Knowing the Pacers though, it'll probably be the opposite.

Isaac
11-28-2006, 11:11 PM
Why the hell didn't Jack just dunk that ball at the end of the half?

AesopRockOn
11-28-2006, 11:12 PM
Lol, we have more blocks (7) than fouls (6).

Anthem
11-28-2006, 11:13 PM
Ok, halftime discussion.

For those that voted "moderately disagree" or "strongly disagree," what lineup would you prefer?

Anthem
11-28-2006, 11:14 PM

He was too far up. He needed the ball half a step earlier to really get up and dunk it.

bnd45

Don't come out with the flat 3rd Quarter that I'm anticipating. Keep playing hard & well.

Here we go. Get the stop, grab the board, come down and score. It's a simple game when played right.

Very true, but we were up 11 with the ball, Jamaal missed a 3 and now it looks like it's gonaa be a dogfight. Wins are wins, but a less stressful win would be nice.

quiller
11-28-2006, 11:50 PM
The one thing about this team this year that you couldn't say about last years team is even with out JO we do have enought fire power to stay in games... though his presence and blocks are really going to be missed. But one thing that could be good about this is we do play back to back and so long we hold on to win this game if he can play tomorrow the rest will do him some good..

ajbry
11-28-2006, 11:51 PM
Baston's only filling out the personal fouls on the box score. Absolutely nothing else so far.

QFT.

I had stepped away from the computer shortly after JO got back in, when the game was still within 5 points. I just got back with about 1:20 left, and we're up 10! What an amazing difference JO makes.

And a Danny Granger that produces well. And "good Sarunas."

He didn't miss, it was a clean block.

Sarunas played well, but "kicking ***" might be an overstatement. He was getting owned by Jack, and had some pretty stupid turnovers that didn't show up in the box score.
