I think a Back to Back game ( with the 2nd game on the road ) is gonna wear us out. I will hope for a win....but if we lose, I won't be surprised....not because we suck or anything....its just that we will be tired.

Also....I think that Dwight is gonna abuse us on the boards tonight. I predict a 15+ rebound night for him against us.

Looks like the guys are playing pretty well based on the play-by-play. Is anyone watching the game? What can you tell us? Has the defensive intensity shown by Tins at the end of the last game carried over?

JO, Tinsley, Jackson, Marshall, Granger and Quise have made 50% or more of there shots yet Harrington has taken the most shots at the half. He needs to realize he is not our top offensive player other wise he will soon find him self coming off the bench.

I doubt he'll come off the bench, but he does need to learn to stop forcing it, when it's not his night. He can still be productive on the floor, without scoring.

Said the guy who didn't realize that in his last eight games Al is shooting .522 from the field, 50% from the three, 7.4 reb and 21 points.

I do realize that. But that doesnt show me that he should be our primary offensive option ahead of JO.

Ack.

The next 6 and a half odd minutes could be the most important of the game. We're either going to hang with them or be behind by 7-10 at the start of the 4th quarter.

P.S. - Harrington is 1-10. Someone send him the "It's not your scoring night," memo.

One thing I can never understand is how you keep shooting when you are 1-6 or 1-7.. I understand that some shooters can shoot themselves out of a slump but AH isn't a shooter... It would be different if he was missing 5 and 6 foot jumpers but stop shooting 13+ foot jumpers when it isn't going down tonight. Instead just worry about rebounding (off and def) and play great defense. Use energy for that instead of using it to try and score. That goes for anyone on the Pacers... If it isn't falling on a certain night use your energy somewhere else.

JO with 5 fouls probably didnt wanna go up for a block and we have no other shot blockers so everytime Jameer got in the lane it was a layup.

We out rebound our opponent.

We dont take as much threes as we have in previous games.

This time we lose cause of stupid plays. Why on earth we resorted to a three when we coulda got the got the 2 then hope they miss is beyond me. Tins and Jack killed us near the end and Harrington killed us all game with his jumpers.

Actually, even though they both missed a couple down the stretch, they also made a couple. Nobody else did anything near the end.

At least Al has a good shooting game occasionally. I'm just sick of seeing Jack hoist up a three and rolling my eyes because I know it doesn't have a prayer. Isn't a shooting guard supposed to be able to shoot?

Didn't he make 4 consecutive threes on 4 consecutive possessions in a game last year?

Also, you have to take into account that he still is hurting and is playing well considering he was hit by a car.

After our time out with a minute and a half to go Tinsley made 2 free throws, JO stole the ball at 58 seconds and Tinsley again went down tried laying it in missed, got the rebound and missed again when he could of relaxed a bit and seen his options.

But it was Al whos mainly to blame for this loss. Smart players know when they are off they should try get others involved and concentrate on other aspects of there game. Not Al he just kept hoisting up his 14-17 feet jumpers.

Honestly I give this game to the Orlando Magic MVP's the Ref's. You wanna know why we lost that game go look and see how many foul shots we got compared to them. Jack was doing pretty well to start and then he started throwing up three's like they had a prayer to begin with. Everytime Al took a shot his form was just so horrible I'd say..."miss" before it even got close to the rim...sure enough it would rim out every time. It was a bad shooting night but I blame the referees in this one we should have won that game.

I'm not blaming him solely for the loss (it would help if JO could box out occasionally and Jeff/Jamaal could put the ball in the hoop from 2 inches away), but I'm sick of having a shooting guard who can't shoot. His other abilities are not good enough to offset that.

TheDon

I think everyone needs to stop pointing fingers at certain players. We all know it's impossible to maintain any sort of unbias accounts since everyone has favorites. It's just one loss and it was on the road in a place where not a lot of teams have won this year. only 3 teams have winning records in the East: Detroit, Orlando, and Cleveland it's not like we just got eliminated from playoff contention. Jack is hurt and playing through it (not making excuses). Al is in a shooting slump a pretty big one but he'll come around. This was a team effort so the loss is on the team not JO, Al, Jack, Danny, etc...I think we'll bounce back at home after thanksgiving against cleveland.

GO PACERS!!
