We better win this game, with Jefferson out of the lineup!

RJ's out. Sweeeeet. Now the only question is who's gonna check Vince. I would asume Jackson but would prefer Granger. I thought the plan this year was to use Danny as our stopper but it seems Ricks been using Jackson on the other teams best player. IMO not a goood idea.

GO PACERS!!!!!!!!!

We need this one, especially for a little early-season revenge on the team that knocked us out last year.

Actually, who's going to guard Krstic is more important if you watched the playoffs last year.

Why does Tins have 5 shot attempts when JO only has 1 so far?

Oh ya, I forgot about Kristic. He owned us last year. Al's played him well so far this game though.

I hope he's given more PT if he keeps playing this way.

Every 3's been wide open since we can't stop penetration. If we D up they'll miss some.

Thank god f or Al

One thing. Nets know that we usually can't score outside so they sit in the box. Hard to break through.

The perimeter passing has been flawless. Tins, Jack, and Quis all know where each other are on the floor and make the perfect pass. I have to say I'm very impressed.

sweabs
11-17-2006, 09:03 PM
Marquis is such a versatile player. If he can just somehow find a way to hit a consistent 3 pointer, he'd be an unquestionable starter in this league.

Pitons
11-17-2006, 09:05 PM
Could you believe Jermaine has 0 points?

rimock31
11-17-2006, 09:06 PM
Yeah he looks very uncomfortable shooting the 3s. However, he's always a great compliment to the point guard (although I still think he compliments Sarunas more). I would have no problem with the minutes at the 2 being split up between Quiz and Rawle....now if we could only get rid of that other guy (Jackson)

I'm in Fort Wayne and yes, I've been blacked out too. Not sure why, in the past even if I didn't have NBA League Pass I could still watch the Pacers home games on Fox Midwest. Is it because of this new Fox Indiana channel? Very confusing how that is the case. Fort Wayne being in the Pacers blackout range makes little sense.

JO just did a good job boxing out on the defensive end, and he just worked hard to get good post position on Krstic. Good job, JO.

Jackson penetrates and hands it off to Jermaine for the easy dunk.

sweabs
11-17-2006, 09:45 PM
That's a strong end to the quarter. Hopefully we can keep things rolling.

JO is doing a good job passing out of the double team in the low post - then swing the ball around and catch the open man. That's how Granger hit that last 3. That's how you do things.

J_2_Da_IzzO

19 three point attempts by the P's. ****ing hell dont we learn. And Granger with 7 of those attempts is unacceptable.

rimock31
11-17-2006, 10:06 PM
The pacers are lacking a midrange game. I'd much rather see Granger developp his midrange/off the dribble game then his spot up 3

Pitons

At least rebounding is good enough. That's why Pacers compete tonight.

J_2_Da_IzzO
11-17-2006, 10:10 PM
1 night our rebounding will be awful and on another night our rebounding will be good but we lose the game on too many three pointers attempted.

Doesnt seem like they can rebound well and limit the threes in 1 game.

I just love Carlisle on the sidelines at the end of tight games

the pained look during timeouts as his mind is churning, trying to come up with

yet another ONE on THREE

Why does he remind me so much of Mike Davis?

Stick a fork in this team.

Tinsley: 40% career shooter. yeah, I'd check him at crunch time

the question is...did RC come up with a bad plan...
or did the players decide to do their own thing?

We are playing in a new system only since pretty recently. Expect lots of turnovers, it's not more then normal for a team in transition to a new and more dynamic playing philosophy.
