Which remaining NBA team deserves to win the championship more so than the others & why? (See if you can be unbiased and think of reasons for the other teams ;) )

That's why you should have left the Pacers off the list... :unimpressed:

I can find no reason to be unbiased, I support the Pacers, why would i think someone else deserved our trophy ????

Well, maybe the Pacers is the right answer. This is a democracy and I don't have the right to tell people what to think. :usa:

Honestly, I was trying to come up with reasons for the others and I couldn't come up with any why they would be more deserving then the Pacers.

Minnesota Timberwolves- Not suffered in the league long enough.

Sacramento Kings- Sacramento has not been good for that long to deserve it. The Kings have only been in Sac for less then 20 years.

San Antonio Spurs-Hey, didn't they already get two?

Los Angeles Lakers- I'm not even going to justify a response :pissed:

New Jersey Nets- Their fans dont care and aren't they moving to Brooklyn anyway?

Detroit Pistons- Not just one, but two.... But outside that....they deserve, just not as bad as we do.

Miami Heat- See Minn.

New Orleans Hornets -Heck, they barely deserve to have a team. eventhough they are rockin' the arena today!

These are just my opinions, no matter how warped they are!

This is going to be the most homerific poll ever.

Seriously, though, the Pistons, Spurs, and Lakers already have their rings, so they're out.

The Nets have had two consecutive shots in the Finals, and have not significantly improved. They're gone.

That leave the Kings, Wolves, Heat, Hornets, and Pacers.

Tim Floyd is an awful coach and Nawlins plays the wrong way. Cut them.

For Sacto, see above. The Kings play the wrong way (all offense, no defense). Not to mention the entire CWebb debacle. Good bye.

Only the Pacers, Heat, and Wolves are "deserving" of the championship, IMO. And the P's have paid far more dues than either "expansion" franchise.

I'd like to see the T'wolves win actually. They went through hell and back because of Joe Smith of all players.

The team that wins the most series. ;)

I thought about voting for the Lakers just to make people mad. :D

But I'll go with the Pacers.

Pacers 9, Pistons 2, everyone else -- 0.

Pistons will get at least two more votes, assuming there's no cheating. :unimpressed:

Well, I won't vote since there's no way I cannot be biased and not vote for the Pacers.

If the Pacers weren't on the list I would lean toward a vote for Detroit. Here's why:
Joe Dumars. He's been active in moving the team forward and energizing the fanbase. He has not stood pat and hoped but has instead been proactive. When it was clear they needed something else this year to get thru the East to have a realistic shot at the Finals he made the Sheed deal happen.

As for Larry Brown... I consider him extremely deserving of an NBA championship to complete his resume'. This is a guy who's record is what it is due to coaching... there's no question mark here as to whether he built up and coached his players into contenders or simply rode a player's (or group of players') coattails. No question for me anyway.

Hmm , I don't see the point of the poll but it really is kinda pointless , It's like your wife or girlfriend coming up to you and saying "hey you wanna have sex" Of course your gonna say yes

I don't understand the question.

What do you mean "deserves".

No team deserves it right now. The playoffs are just heating up.

This seems like a college football discussion

Well, Bball & Roaming Gnome's are the kinds of responses I was looking for. I meant: which team(s) have worked through the biggest issues?
which have worked the hardest?
which have gone without winning and it's just their time?
which have player(s) who have worked their butts off their whole careers and it's their time to finally win one?

You can take "deserves" and think about it any way you want. That was just the way I thought about it when making the poll, but any sensible post will do, in all honesty.

(I would have to say the Pacers because Reggie Miller is one of the greatest players of all time and he deserves to win a championship before he goes. I could make the point for the Lakers that Karl Malone and Gary Payton are future hall of famers and deserve to win the Finals after all their years of hard work, but they took the "easy" way out and went to play with the with the champions 1 year removed, and, therefore, do not deserve to win it as much as Miller/Pacers do(es). That's the kind of thing I was talking about.)

23-3, Pacers over everyone else.

Kinda like Sauce said, except this is like your wife or girlfriend making you answer a poll as to which woman you'd most want to have sex with.

Who's gonna vote for Jennifer Garner when your woman is watching you?
