I voted for everyone simply because it is too early to say who won or lost

Just by looking at the lists, I put Frank's #1 with Badd's #2. Considering how big this league is though, it should be interesting.

I have no idea - maybe Frank. Of course he has LeBron, and his second and third pick were really solid as well.

I'm hoping for Steve Francis (pick 120) to become the steal of the draft.

I think a lot of people did well, and I think I just did a poor job of picking my votes.

I will say I'm as happy as I can recall being about my own team, but that's dependent on the Warrior boys playing like I think they will.

I like Dr Badd, Kerosene, LA, Pizzaguy & Rasko. DB & Kero have extremely strong top 5's while the others picked starters 7 and 8 deep. There are some real sleepers in there - MR's one with a bunch of guys who could be starters or could get 10 minutes/game. And Kerosene's season depends on Camby staying healthy - and some on Bonzi staying sane.

Then there are gamble teams like mine - my top 3 are pretty sure things but starting with Larry Hughes I went to, "I think he'll fit better with Lebron this year" to Kwame "This'll be the year he gets it" all the way to Snyder "He's the type of player JVG really likes." With the exception of Jason Collins, every player in my bottom 9 is a question mark.

What's impressed me the most is there are very few teams you can point to and say they're total dogs. Like always, it's gonna be about 5 parts luck and 1 part skill.

I think Boston Connection holds very good papers. I think he has one of the top-3 Forward-Center combinations with a lot of potential for growth.
His team seems to be a little "light" on Guards. I think he really needs Shaun Livingston to come through aswell as Zach Randolph at Forward. Anyway, good team.

Displaced Knick. Same story. Superior Forward-Center combination on talent, maybe with a little more injury-history too from his starters then average. But, if they stay healthy then this is a very good frontcourt also good depth there. Not sure about the backcourt.

Frank Slade. When you have LeBron in your team you need to be listed. I had him last year and it helps a ton. The cast beside LeBron is also pretty good. Rasheed is underrated in Fantasy and Center-eligible which makes him extremely valuable. Odom is quite valuable too with not only his points and rebounds, but also his high number of assists. Korver could very well rebound this year and Cassell might very well play more then most expect him too, sort of how like Stockton kept on playing and just didn't break down. Cassell has more of an injury-history though. The potential ROY is also on this team.

Kerosene. Nice balanced team with good depth aswell as potential. Camby needs to really play as much as possible. Howard is going to be a beast and if Richardson recovers well from his, I think, knee-injury then he's going to light it up aswell under coach Nelson.

Magic Rat. I was aiming for Raymond Felton in Round 3, but he got nabbed a few picks ahead of me. One of the best point guards in the league already and he will prove that this year. Will produce a lot of points in Fantasy, very nice pick. And with one of the best-filled Forward slots in the league (IF not the best) with Shawn Marion and Josh Smith. Tinsley better stay healthy to produce FP's behing Felton in the backcourt though. Not sure about center either, but Forward absolutely rocks and Felton will help a lot at Guard too.

Hicks. Very nice Center-Forward combo. One of the best in this league if you'd ask me. Murphy WILL get a lot of minutes and likely at Center, Duncan aswell, so Center is nicely filled. Who is their backup though? Might want to add a bacl-up center through a trade sometime.
Rashard Lewis is underrated IMO and is a good addition where you got him. Rondo might very well be one of the best rookies this year, I don't know if his defensive intensity will really translate into a lot of fantasy points though. Stackhouse seems like a good pick too, likewise with Harris. I don't know about Turkoglu. I think his role with the Magic will diminish starting this year.

Anyway, this is all speculation, offcourse. Teams not mentioned might very well dominate this season. It all remains to be seen.

Regards,

Mourning

I chose Ike as a total reverse of your warriors "gamble". If your boys don't pan out, Ike could see a bigger role.

What's bad for you could be good for me. That's one of the wierd things about a league as deep as ours.

I messed up my voting, but I would pick Frank Slade, Dr. Badd, Displaced Knick and Boston Connection as the early favorites.

Bulldog and Since86, hope you aren't too displeased with your squads. Not sure how Hicks handled 5-6 lists and himself and all his other duties. I had a pretty difficult time with just me and you two for half the rounds. And it was definetely painful giving you guys people that I was hoping would drop to me.

Let's get after it.

Yes, that was the sucky part about drafting for others. People I wanted were dropping right to me, but then one of the others were up, and the guy I had waited on was clearly the right choice, so he had to go.

In my case, it went the opposite. I took players that lifeisgood should have gotten. I even confused who was up towards the end of the draft.

Now I'm overly heavy at center and he's light.

How you did it with multiple rosters is beyond me. My browser wouldn't even refresh at times. You are a posting and picking god, that's for sure.

Last year was the first time we did the draft over multiple days. It worked pretty well on the Sports.ws site, not so well here on line.

Believe me Hicks, I know exactly what you had to go thru. There was a 4 year stretch where I was drafting for as many as 6 teams at a time. Thats why I was so insistant on the extended draft. It allows everyone to draft their own team & it takes so much pressure off the commish it isn't even funny. Not to mention, not having to set at a PC for 10 hours!

Best case is that Able & his crew can get our Sports.ws clone created in the next few months & we can move in next summer.

That way, this will never happen again.

Hey, I hadn't noticed before - Indy Dave has the entire Pacers front court on his team. Cool!

Took a look at your Team 7 because we play each other this week. :boxer:

Also noticed Josh Powell is listed as a GF. :disturbed

Thanks for doing that, I really appriecate it.

And no, I'm not disappointed at all. 1.) Beggers can't be choosers, and 2.) when a league is this big, and gets down that far, it's a crapshoot anyways. Someone is going to get lucky and land that player that just surprises everyone, but it's extremely hard to find.

Smaller people would have skipped their man for us others, and made sure they got them themselves. It shows what true class this site/league is ran with. Thank you again.
