I think the preseason is about a week too long. If they cut it to 5 games I'd be happy. Hell, keep the schedule the same and give them an extra week of training for all I care.

Yes I believe there is a certain service that updates the boxscores for all the sites. Probably because it's preseason and in Cinci, there is no one keeping track so to speak.

Just wondering , who thinks DA will be our starting PG by Turkey day ?

10-18-2006, 08:17 PM
he's got 10 so far in this game...from the looks of it he very well could be our starter with runi as the backup as im sure Tinsley will be on IR or whatever by that time.

Wouldnt shock me, the guy is nothing but energy i love it

10-18-2006, 08:17 PM
None of the live boxscores on ESPN, Yahoo, NBA.com, etc. appear to be up, so I'm going by this thread as well. Ugh.
I think this is because 3 of the games are at alternate sites which must not be equipped to send out live box score info from the scoring station, at least that's my guess. The one live feed working is from the Nets - Boston game in Boston. I doubt this is a coincidence.

I'm having no problem with the audio feed. Just a touch of compression distortion every now and then.

Just wondering , who thinks DA will be our starting PG by Turkey day ?
I think it's reasonable. Personally I've been very pleased with his play. Of course Greene looked sharp vs bench guys in game 1, and honestly if Tinsley is healthy I would still expect him to be better than DA can be.

I really doubt DA will just be sitting the bench like some fans expected. And he's playing too well to simply retire for the bench.

10-18-2006, 08:20 PM
tomorrow nights game will be on FSN right ?

Well hopefully with Al and Danny he can play 3rd fiddle like he is supposed to this since it seems apparent that JO and Tins will be gone half the year.

Man if Bird did pass up the #1 and Villi for JO, he ****ed up.

Nice stats by Josh Powell again

10-19-2006, 12:06 AM
Nice stats by Sarunas too!

10-19-2006, 12:08 AM
Runi's stat line doesn't look so bad.

9 points
3 rebounds
3-7 shooting
2-4 from 3 point range
4 assists
3 turnovers
1 steal

All this in 20 minutes.

I wasn't there, and stats can be misleading. But other than the three turnovers, it reads like a decent showing to me.
