This from Pacers.com:

Now weighing in at 262 and able to add or subtract a few pounds as needed by regulating his water intake, Harrison looks primed to take a major step forward in his third season.

"My main motivation was wanting to be able to stay on the floor," he said. "Any excuse for me not to be on the floor, I don't want it to be made. I tried to eliminate all the other people's excuses and just answer the question, 'Why am I not playing?' "

I'm glad to see he's gotten in shape. I agree that "any excuse should be eliminated."

But I don't think his physical shape is the key thing preventing his minutes.

What do you guys think?

I think if he has been doing his Palmolive hand softening treatments that will have a lot to do with it.

Seriously, I think his physical shape kept him from getting a lot of time to work on the catching-in-traffic issue (which is very hard to work on without being able to pull a full practice).

Slap-happiness IMO. Or foul trouble if you want to get specific.

Sometimes fouling is because of being out of shape but Harrison plays patticake in the first 2 minutes so much that I don't think that's it.

Defend with your legs, not with your hands, David.
