Sorry to clog the board with yet another thread about the FanJam, but I have quite a few to post and thought it would be better to start a new thread.....

It's about the FANS....

I hope somebody told Jackson to go check out his sign...Incidentally, we were standing behind a guy in line waiting for the doors to open who had tape on his hat and another sign hanging around his neck that read, "SUPPORT JACKSON". Figured those that agree with that viewpoint would like to know...Major props to that same guy for having a radio/headphones to keep me posted on how the Colts/Titans game was going...

I always love the schedule mural painted on the building...Makes for a nice desktop background...

Here was my first look at the new "Legends" bar that takes yet another area from the regular Joe Pacer fans and puts it in the hands of the affluent. Pretty soon, if you don't live at Geist, you won't be able to attend games...

Here's me happy to be standing on the court waiting to attempt my free throw. I'm the guy in the blue hat looking right at the camera, for those that don't know me...

Here's me clanging said free throw off the front of the rim....(I couldn't handle the pressure...)

"Is it safe to come out? Are the fans throwing stuff??"

Mark Boyle looking sharp in his guitar shirt....

Harrison definitely looks lean & mean! I was very encouraged by his conditioning. Now I hope he can control his temper and stay out of foul trouble. It seemed to me he was getting a little pissy about the fouls he got called for....during a SCRIMMAGE.....

http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d163/heywoode/100806%20Pacers%20FanJam/IMG_7821.jpg

Tinsley blew out his hamstring while trying to jog and highfive at the same time...Should be back in 3-4 weeks....

http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d163/heywoode/100806%20Pacers%20FanJam/IMG_7862.jpg

Big Al, back home again....

http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d163/heywoode/100806%20Pacers%20FanJam/IMG_7871.jpg

His entrance was so good, I had to post two shots of it...He DEFINITELY looked happy to be back with the Pacers.

http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d163/heywoode/100806%20Pacers%20FanJam/IMG_7877.jpg

Okay, so I can't help loving Al's cheesy smile...Speaking of cheese, does anyone else remember when Al's player profile (the first time he was here) that said his favorite food was macaroni & cheese??!! My wife still calls him 'mac&cheese'.....Maybe that's why he was holding out for more money...

Looked to me like Marquis could get right here all day long....

This is what I'm not looking forward to this year...I can see that pass getting picked off and ran down the court for a momentum-killing throw down dunk...

http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d163/heywoode/100806%20Pacers%20FanJam/IMG_7994.jpg

A dunk that looks like THIS....

If you find where the Cop is at the top right, and then right to left of him are two people wearing white shirts. Those are my parents. I'm the one on the far left of that goup of five, wearing the dark blue Pacers jersey with a white shirt underneath.

Not stalking BTW, just enough resolution to pull you out of the background. I looked around for something better but most of the time you guys are much more out of focus.

Too bad I didn't catch a guy dunking with you visible in the background, that would be cool photo to have. The next shot is almost the same but Al is already into his jumpshot. BTW, there's the face that Daniels had on all afternoon IMO.

I got video of Denari introducing Tinsley, Foster, Harrington, and a little of O'Neal. I also got 3 videos of the Soul Train dance line, and a fifth video that is of DA doing his Ray Lewis dance. They aren't great quality, they are only one minute long each, and they are 75mb each...my little camera sucks for video!

I'm trying to figure the best way to upload them to make them available, but as of now, it has proven difficult. It seems an awful lot of work for five 1 minute videos! I'll keep working on it, but when I try to make them smaller in file size, the quality drops off quickly and it wasn't that great to start with....

Let me know if anyone has any ideas...

For all the talk of "hip hop culture" it was pretty pathetic that the main routine anyone could go to was the old Ray Lewis move.

Gotta say that outside of Armstrong and Granger the rest need to catch up on this hip hop movement.

Now DA, that dude is ready to MC the And-1 tour, he was non-stop when he hit the mic and kept things flowing pretty well, like a real pro.

Yeah, you looked like you wanted to make that free throw pretty damn bad because you knew the result would be right here on the Digest!!! No pressure dude...

Sadly, Bowser didn't get with the program and slim-down.

The real funny thing about this is...Hicks and I were talking about David Harrison when Bowser was standing right in front of us and he overheard me say, "Yeah, he's definatly lost that extra bulk and is looking good". Well, Bowser looks directly at me and gives me that, Who me? type of look. I just turned to him and patted him on the belly and said, "No, I was talkin about David, but you could stand to loose a few pounds yourself." Well, he gave me the old belly jiggle and turned around and patted his backside in the ol' Kiss my grits, fashion....then walked off. Well about 15 mins later when I had my head turned the other way, he came up behind me and whopped my upside my head :brick:!

The mascots are as violent as the players!!! ;)

Maybe it's the culture....

Thanks to everyone who said thanks and liked the shots...I'm looking forward to taking and sharing plenty this season!

The cotton candy guy was walking around in front of us trying to sell the stuff. Someone waved him a few feet from me to buy some cotton candy, and out of no where comes Bowser. He runs up and grabs a thing of cotton candy and runs off. haha, he just throws it up into the crowd.

I like it that these mascots know how to have fun.

I'd like to take a moment to rant about the cotton candy guy. Not so much about him as a person, but moreso about product placement. As a young man flying solo at this event (my Dad was in Kentucky), and with a front row seat, there was no way I was going to leave to go get a drink or use the bathroom, for fear of losing my seat. As such, when the cotton candy guy started going around, I felt like maybe there would be a Pepsi guy, or at least a Miller Lite guy. Sadly, the cotton candy guy was also flying solo, and so I remained parched throughout the entire scrimmage :)

Er...

I forgot about yours. Too many photos to keep track of is my excuse. :)

BTW, one of the dances James White did was actually the joke dance from Katt Williams routine as seen in his recent HBO stand-up special (very funny, but extremely strong language throughout). He's making fun of people all stone-face posing (trying to be hard) at clubs now instead of having fun and says that you should just jump on the floor and make up your own dance...and then he does this dance that's basically a baseball game (throwing the pitch, hitting the ball, catching, etc) and ends it with a fadeaway jumper. It's really hilarious stuff.

That's what White broke out during the line dance, I just hadn't seen the Williams show yet to recognize it. Actually makes White come off funnier IMO. :D
