View Full Version : Milwaukee Bucks Unveil New Uniforms

09-29-2006, 06:17 PM

In the MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, Charles F. Gardner writes "say goodbye to the purple, which had been part of the Milwaukee Bucks' color scheme since 1993. Red and green are back, on the Bucks' redesigned playing court and in the team's uniforms. Michael Redd and Andrew Bogut served as fashion models on Thursday night, wearing the new home and road uniforms at a season tip-off event at the Bradley Center."

I like these, reminds me of their old jerseys.

That's why their logo was the color on some sites I've seen the past few years......

I like the design, but it looks shiny, which I don't care for. They're pretty cool though. I'm glad they nixed the purple.

Horrible. Let's get back to Big Three Era style uniforms, please.

Interesting how all of the "purple" teams seem to be dropping that color. I've never been a fan of teams changing their color schemes to fit the latest "in" color. I'm glad the Pacers have kept with the traditional blue and gold and din't go to purple or black and white through the years.

The all green one is ugly, **** look like a christmas tree.

Much better without the purple.

I really like the home uniform. The road one, I don't know. I was expecting it to be red, like their revised logo: :bucks:

The shiny-ness and how easily the folds show on the road one don't do much for me, but they're OK.

I like the color purple, just not the purple on their old jerseys. These new ones are ok.

I like the white jerseys, the green ones do nothing for me.

I agree but it is definitely an upgrade over their last uniforms; I think that they will still suck except for Redd that is.

I don't think their old uniforms were that bad. Actually I really liked their old green alt jersey, cant find a picture of it though. These new jersey's aren't so great.

Id have to agree with Jermaniac, deffinitely looks Christmas-y. Look at their new website, its even worse lol.

Those look like a shiny version of my HS jersies. I agree though, the home is pretty good, but the road one is grotesque.

They need a whole new design consulting team. Those road unis suck, someone said they look like christmas trees. Yep..

The green would be better if it wasn't so shiny. The material is all wrong.

It's going to be a tough season for Bogut without his left arm...or is that only on the road?

I like both jerseys.

I like the, but I'm not sure I'm ready for unis that are that shiny yet.

It's throwback-style. Very nice.

Don't like the green jerseys, but I do like the white ones.

The new jerseys are a whole lot better than their previous jerseys. They look very modern

This is the camp I'm in too. The green does seem a bit shiny, but still I think it's a positive change with a retro vibe to it.

I like 'em. They look timeless, unlike some of the "cartoon" uniforms we've endured in the last decade.

Why do they mix up the trim color on the road jersey? The red is used as a trim on the letters but then used as the accent color under the arms with the white as the trim. Along with the shiny material it looks like they stabled a Bucks banner on the front of a Rocket jersey. The home jersey has a consistent trim color which is definately prefered especially in a uniform setting.
