Let the 2-for-1 and 3-for-2 spree begin.

Well now wouldn't that be a dream come true. Singleton was such a beast early last season I considered picking his *** of waivers...but I couldn't pass up on the Mehmet Okur someone had foolishly dropped (I found out later that it was an accident, but I didn't care)...

Maybe the clips would do that deal. Jack is probably a better SF than Corey in terms of defense.

Id do this trade if i could, but i doubt it would happen

They already have a great defender at the SF position in Quinton Ross. He's young and has a lot of room to improve in other aspects of his game (which was shown in spurts over the course of last year).

What a great trade.

Let's hope for it to actually happen.....

Could you clarify as to what you mean by "restrictions have been lifted"?

Do you mean salary/contractwise?

or

Are you referring to some restriction in the ESPN Trade machine?

After a player is traded, there's a 2-month window where they can't be a part of a package. That restriction has passed.

Is there any restriction for cuts?

Well, technically you can cut anybody at any time. But you still have to pay them.

A few of the guys have non-guaranteed contracts. That means you can cut them to get out of all future obligations. You still pay them whatever you've already paid, but you don't have to pay them any more. One of the Dallas guys (I believe it's Powell) is still not guaranteed, and the same is true of Snap Hunter and O. Greene.

Unless we can trade him, I believe we'll cut John Edwards, even though his contract is guaranteed. We'll just say it was part of the cost of the Harrington trade. That puts us at 17 players and 15 slots. Assuming we can't trade 3-for-2 or 2-for-1, I think we'll cut Hunter and whichever Dallas guy isn't guaranteed.

But that's just a guess.

I'd rather do THIS one, Anthem-

I guess the Clips are talking about buying out SS's european contract for a paltry fee (by NBA standards). For those of you not familiar with him, read this. (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/writers/chris_mannix/09/06/schortsanitis/)

and this article from 3 years ago (http://www.hoopshype.com/articles/sofocles_peinado.htm).

That's "Baby Shaq" right? I'd do that deal.

I think Clippers have an option on Schortsianitis.
