I think there is something in this for all 4 teams.

Indy gets Delonte West whose skills combine well with Marquis. It also sheds some salary in the length of contracts it is recieving. Doesn't help any with bringing the roster numbers down however.

Boston gets to move Wally's contract and brings in some vets to help out their youngsters. Crawford can take up Wally's scoring.

Denver gets to move KMart's epic contract and dodgey knees and gets the outside shooting it badly needs in Wally and Jax.

NY thins out their backcourt some and adds some muscle up forward. They get an expiring contract in Grant to cover for the fact they are taking on some extra salary down the track.

Screw the format...that trade makes perfect amounts of sense for all teams. I don't see a single reason why any one team wouldn't do it. A trade might have to be thrown Boston's way. Maybe a second rounder from Denver and one from NY.

I think we get worse in that trade...have you ever had the pleasure of watching Brian Scalabrine play? I saw him every game in New Jersey, then he was traded to Boston where I go to school. Eddie Gill looks like Michael Jordan in comparison.

along with that, why do we want another pg? i'd be okay with the trade if we took foster out and replaced him with one of our point guards

i think we need to get back a pure, not streaky, outside shooter or a reliable backup center with the current deal at hand

Delonte West is an excellent shooter and defender would be an excellent fit by Marquis Daniels.

We might be able to squeeze a pick out of this or some 3rd big man, however..

Great trade and if that doesn't work then Delonte West for Powell and Marshall.

I don't think Boston does it.

It looks good for Denver in my view. Karl and K-Mart don't like each other no matter what they tell the press.

As much as I like West, we'd have to include a PG, or ship one out in a 2nd trade.

Boston is going to be moving West to backup SG this season. Telfair and Rondo manning the point for most of the minutes.

Get 'r done Larry!
