If RC is afraid to stand up to some of the pleayers, Jax , JO, Harrison, and make them stop crying to the ref on every call. All it is doing is make the refs, continue to give the other team the breaks. Plus they are at one end of the floor and the ball is on the other end. If he is scared to stand up to these guys then LB should step up and do it. I don't think He is scared of any of them. Or have Mel stand up and do it.:-p

I would like to see effort for 48 Minutes, 82 games a year. But since that ain't likely yours is good too.

To sign me.

I'm a better shooter than who we have on the roster. Plus, it would make one hell of a Sportscenter story. Man shot 3 months ago, now NBA player. ;)

a collective effort, ya know, like a team? anyone? team? that thing we had in like 2000? where players worked togeth... nevermind. watch a spurs game as a reference.

less ref complaining would be a good thing.

a title!

back to reality, i'd like to see development of harrison, granger and the other young players on our roster currently. for granger, more consistancy and a deadlier shot... for harrison maturity and better decision-making (including not being so foul prone, shot selection, and ref shouting)

i'd love to see returns from our Jamaal Tinsley investment. because otherwise... lets move on.

i have lots of things i'd like to see, i plan on not seeing them in the near future (save granger development)

To play with some class.

Absolutely. However, we have to sign players with class first...players that put team first...and hire coaches who can babysit the rest of the players properly.

So, one way or another, I would like the Pacers to clean up this mess.

...and this mess belongs almost exclusively to DW and LB...and fortunately they have their brooms and dust pans out. They have more work to do, though.

I would not mind it if they traded everyone from last year's team, got a new coach, new GM, new CEO, new owners...

Some wins.

Some wins.

You might want to be more specific than that. Five is some wins. On the other hand 77 is a :censored: load of loses.

Ron who?

i want to see them get to the ECF and say i was a fan all the way through...

well i guess thats more for me than for the team...

BUT i do want to see Granger develop... a lot... like into possibly a scottie pippen :D

Ya, but on the other hand, maybe Greg Oden will wear number 77 for us in commemoration of the event :)

Or maybe he will wear 25 for Phoenix instead, as in the 25% chance a team with 77 losses even gets the #1 pick. When the ATL pick sent to PHX comes up instead, all the "hooray lottery" people will choke on their own
:puke:

Let's not even consider anything under 38-39 wins acceptable. The lottery is not going to make up for it, no matter how deep the draft.

I'm with Anthem though, I'll take some wins mostly. Teamwork and on-court chemistry is what I think will produce that and its something I think they are capable of. It might take a month or so, but if they start hitting a .550-.600 win clip by mid-December I'll be very pleased.

I'd like to see a team that puts forth its best effort, every night. Not a team that comes into the game, with a "they're going to lay down for us" attitude, and then tries to come back and win in the last few minutes. I'd just like to know that the guys on the floor, and on the bench, actually care about being there and trying to represent our state the best it can be represented.

Oh yeah, and I'd like to see Tinsley and Jackson shipped out.

But from a team standpoint - show us effort. I can handle a loss if I know everything was left on the court.

I don't know how it happened, but BK was somehow smart enough to at least top 3 protect that pick in the 2007 draft. Of course, it could backfire if Oden comes out in 2008 where the pick is unprotected.

I'd like to see a whole lot of movement on the offense... every possession.

Oh.
:dunce:

But of course the general point still stands that the field, including ATL, will have a better shot at Oden that the Pacers could no matter what....well, short of trading for several more lottery picks.

Id like a team that plays with each other and wants to play with each other. Less pouting, less complaining to the refs (actually NO complaining). Injuries can be helped by conditioning but sometimes you cant do anything about that so i cant really expect for it not to happen.

50 Ws

Couldn't care less how we get there

I just want us to be relevent again. And no longer a League-wide punchline. (pun not intended)

less turnovers, more rebounds, consistent long range shooting, and at least 50 wins.
