Does anyone have info on what Reggie's up to or his thoughts on one day coaching?

In many many interviews he's been asked this and has always said that he has no interest in coaching, period.

What makes you think he has any interest in coaching. Hes got a production company. He does commentary. Real Coaching is a full time gig. You don't see carlisle doing commentary and running a production company.

Ron who?

There's no way he's going to be a coach. He's way too busy with his other business dealings. On top of that, he was never the kind of player to lead verbally, but by example; so, why would that change?

Maybe, somewhere down the road he'll be involved in the office, maybe as a special assitant. But, even that is doubtful.

I think that Reggie could coach if he had the desire.

But I don't think he does. He probably is a little burnt out on basketball that he doesn't want to be to involed with it for a while atleast.

But as someone suggested before a frontoffice job is not out of the question but I don't see Reggie being a coach. (although i'd love it if he was working with players in practice.)

Damn, you have a good memory.

For the 10,001 time:

edit: I have however amended my opinion. Reggie would coach the Pacers. In an old timer game. For charity. At the Fair Grounds. In short shorts.

grace is right, he has said plenty of times he has no interest in doing it. He has a production company, "Boom Baby Productions" and is commentating games.

Reggie would be a hell of a coach, but he doesn't want to do it.

I could see him changing his tune 15-20 years from now.

In a way, he is an assistant coach with the team now.

He makes frequent stops at Conseco to work out during the season and off-season, he still works out with the team from time to time, and teaches the young guys.

Even if he doesn't officially have the title, he is like a distant assistant coach.
