I saw that the other day; I'd like it better if they left the simpler version around as an alternative. Getting to the player profiles (the typical ones that everyone has) is a pain in the butt now.

Some people tend to go for bright lights and whistles on the web. I like web sites that are simple and intuitive. Portland's web site is like most, not very well organized.

What you have on most sites is disaster. You have someone that knows how to set up a web site but they don't know how to organize. You need both. Thus most web sites are time wasters.

Take ESPN'S for example. It's hard to find stuff when you look for it AGAIN because they move it.

That's pretty tight. Too bad they don't have better little players to click on down there at the bottom, I don't find myself wanting to know about Dan Dickau and Ha Seung Jin that much.

Now the BlazerDancer page, there we go.

Checkout Mindy's action gallery for a pic of her about to throw one down too, kind of like the Magic Dunkin' Dancers.

Maybe since the quality of the Pacemates dropped significantly overall this year, we should get them out there dunking and trying out new stuff.

You know what would be cool? The trampoline/dunking stuff but without letting them practice.

Any website that doesn't have a cheerleader popping up every two seconds to tell me to buy playoff tickets is O.K. with me.

I don't think you'll have to worry about that on Portland's site any time soon.

New York's either.

Well, it's pretty. But any team web-site that deosn't have a highly visible story on a pending trade for Jamaal Magliore doesn't win any awards with me.

$199 for full season tickets, wow! Did you guys see that on their site?

Charlotte has the same deal. but there are only about 500 of those.

Goes up from there. Although I did hear, if you bought $299 and up packages, they also gave you a $100 gift card to Lowe's Home Improvement Centers. They ar ehaving a hard time selling tickets here, although I'm sure it picked up a little with the promise of MJ attending some games.

We'll be having a Pacemate pimp Playoff tickets, but this year it won't be Lindsay. :irked:

It was slow, didn't fit on my screen without a slider bar, sorry, but I don't set my res. real high, and none of the player links worked. Glad its not ours.

It's great. Brandon Roy even lies about being happy to be on the Blazers.

Don't say anything bad about the Blazers' website...you'll make them angry, and you won't like them when they're angry

(not that you like them now, but)

You can do some pretty sweet stuff with Flash. It's a little more bulky, but the presentation is fantastic. Just depends on what you're aiming for... speed and efficiency... or flashiness. Both have their advantages.
