Take away Eddie Gill and Pollard, we hve 15 on the roster. Sorry, but this roster is weird. Larry and DW is true to their word...they have gone long, lean, and fast. Just really anxious to seee how this team turns out. But they are definately starting from scratch.

After we get Al officially, I would like to see at least one or two more trades.

Gill is gone, I really dont see Rawle Marshall or Powell making the team..im sure Pollard will be re-signed before the season starts, we get AL and maybe wave/trade Marshall and Powell and we'll be ok (another trade for however will work for me)

I wouldnt mind seeing Snap Hunter on the team...he deserves a spot on the roster

Yes. Snap is clearly better than Eddie Gill and should get that last spot. At least he can put the ball in the basket.

I don't want Snap or Gill on the roster.

We defiantly need more movement.

I really hate our point guard position. I understand that Saras will be given a chance to show what he can do and i'm fine with that. I am not fine with Tinsley as the starter though because we don't have AJ here anymore to cover for him when Tinsley is out. And besides that I don't think that Tinsley fits in with our team.

I would like Jackson gone too. One because I can't stand him and two because I would like to the see the backup shooting guard spot be a little unknown. Give Shawne, James, and even Oriene the chance to play that spot.

I would like to see Scot re-signed. Regardless of if he can play every game he is probably the best team defender we have and our best post defender. We have a shot blocker in Baston but we need a post defender like Scot to deal with the Shaqs and Duncans of the world.

Ditto on Gill. I feel the same way about Eddie Gill as I did about Jamison Brewer...u-s-e-l-e-s-s. I wish we could have traded him to Tel Aviv for Baston. As far as Pollard goes I think we can get someone more athletic to add to our roster than him. I will miss his funny face routine though. What about John Edwards in the Al trade? If we don't get him I would like to see another true center added. Or get Edwards and trade him Tel Aviv for Rik Smits Jr. Something. The roster is one or two little tweaks away. (Assuming we do get Al.)

Wait, you want someone more athletic than Pollard and you ask about John Edwards? Man granted I didn't pay much attention to Edwards but I always thought of him as a stiff.

And think of it this way, we just signed Baston, an athletic/energy type of big man. Don't you think we need a post defender like Pollard in there?

That roster's weak. Way too many scrubs. We need Al bad.

I agree with everything you are saying it's just that I don't trust Pollards body to stay intact. He's like a Tinsley injury wise. He's just so like-able that I cut him more slack. Edwards isn't that impressive but he's more durable. I would like to see someone other than those two.

If anything...Pollard is the "break in case of emergency or when encountering Shaq or Ben Wallace in the Paint or in the Woods" Big Man. He doesn't have to be as durable given a lineup of JONeal/Harrington/Foster/Harrison/Baston and that he is the type of player that can pretty much come in without needing significant playing time and provide immediate help. Being that 6th Big Man off the bench....you don't need to be 100% healthy all the time....just ready to come in for 10-15 minutes when JONeal or Foster  gets injured.

Pollard is cheap for a 6th Big Man off the bench, doesn't need to play that many minutes to be happy, is a very good lockerroom person along with being a mentor ( along with Foster ) to Harrison and does very good Pacer PR commercials.

If we have the room to spare and unlikely to spend a significant amount of money to get the type of Big Man that many of you crave.....I would much rather spend it on Pollard then waste it on another "Samaki Walker bench warmer" type player...which has now been taken up by Baston.

For those who want more movement check out Cascara Sagrada or Magnesium. :)
