We are trying to move up and get the 6th pick according to Draft Express.

I've been waiting for this day for months now. I always love the feeling that we're getting a new guy. Exciting stuff. I'm really interested in seeing how this all turns out, because there really aren't many obvious choices.

I was hoping for Shelden Williams early on, but it looks very slim that he'll drop to us at this point. Right now, I'd be happy with a guy like Rondo.

I've heard the Hawks already promised Williams a deal. So doesn't look like his is going to fall, I wish though :(. I'll be happy with Farmar, Sergio, Redick OR maybe Morrison will fall :) lol j/k. I'm with you, I'm stoked about the draft 1 hour 23 minutes. yyayya

Dude I hope SOOOOOO BAD.. that means we could get Morrison. PLEASE.. GET 'R' DONE LB and DW.

Getting that #6 pick would certainly make things more interesting. Rudy Gay could also be available at that spot...but I don't know why the Timberwolves would trade that pick?

Was this on the RealGM podcast? if not, can you post a link?

Givony said it on RealGM radio.

Ohh and who wants to be PD crashes right after our pick? Just like last year when Danny got picked and when Ron got traded.

I'm excited about the draft! 1 hr and 7 mins left.

I'd like to move down with either NJ or Phoenix and have two picks between 20-30. I'd be content with Collins and Farmar from those picks.

In the second half of the first round, I think you should be looking for guys that should have solid, but unspectacular careers, like Collins and Farmar. Rarely do teams get lucky and find a future star that far down, but waste a lot of draft picks on guys that play their way out of the league quickly.

5 things I think I think (i may be back during the draft)

1. A couple of days ago I posted James White to LA and Shawne Williams to NY..I'm positive about both of these. Williams could be taken ahead of NY, but White will be there for LA. Unless someone very good falls to LA, I'm sure about these picks.

2. Reddick isn't slipping anywhere and he won't go past #11.

3. The Pacers will be drafting either Marcus Williams, Rajon Rondo, or Thabo Sebalosha (sp?)

4. Telfair is heading to Philly

5. Portland will be taking Adam Morrison at #4 (Gay at #3) and Aldridge @ #7 (an incredible steal) p.s. edit: If ESPN is right and the Bobs take Morrison at #3, then Aldridge @ #4 and a crapshoot at #7 unless someone *cough* doesn't trade up to #6 for Roy, in which case it would be Roy.

Telfair went to Boston for the #7 pick. Portland now holds the 4, 7, 30 and 31. They will improve next year, but still won't be a threat.

Well, twice in two days you've insulted able's ability to host a popular website (ie, this one). He's telling you to put your money where your mouth is.

He doesn't have to let us use his servers for free. I'd recommend the "respect" approach instead of the one you've used the last couple of days.

Telfair went to Boston for the #7 pick. Portland now holds the 4, 7, 30 and 31. They will improve next year, but still won't be a threat.

They will actually be worse, if that is possible. Randolph and Miles will be gone and they will be the youngest team in the league. The young players that they have from last years draft were highschool players that may not be ready still. Also, remember those two Russian they drafted a few years ago? Neither does anyone else. They needed to get an actual player, not more projects.

The Bobcats are gonna build a very good lineup:

PG - Felton

They just need a decent defensive SF to backup Morrison. But Gerald Wallace is a good start.

Oh no doubt. you will have not argument from me on that one.

I just though it curious how Adamant Chad Ford was on this but apparently Bernie loved Morrison, and Jordan Loved Roy. So apparently Bernie got his way. Personally I would have went with Roy but either are Solid Picks.

Here's what Ford said in his last Mock.

The skinny: On lottery night, in our first full mock draft, we put Adam Morrison here. The thinking was that he made the most sense for Charlotte. The franchise is struggling with fans, Morrison is the most popular player in the draft and he would give the Bobcats the scoring punch they desperately need.

We changed our projection to Rudy Gay in the second mock draft after getting some feedback that GM Bernie Bickerstaff thought Gay has more upside than Morrison.

We went with Brandon Roy in Mock Draft 3.0 after getting word that new co-owner Michael Jordan preferred Roy to either Morrison or Gay.
Then we went back to Morrison in Mock Draft 4.0.
So how did we end up with Gay? It's just an educated guess.
Tuesday night, Bobcats GM Bernie Bickerstaff told me that the staff was still evenly split between Gay, Morrison and Roy. The Bobcats are still under construction, and if they're looking for upside, Gay is the guy.

Hmm Interesting, Well now since Portland is at #7 now and then Houston at 8. I would think Gay must go to one of them.

However I am not sure If either team would draft Randy Foye, which would leave him along with O' Bryant and Brewer who' stock has really risen today apparently.
