I think the second round is much more difficult to predict..but my hope is that the Pacers will go with a player that is durable and a proven winner..
Conrad mentioned Gerry McNamara and Dee Brown...maybe even Kevin Pittsnoggle...

I think those three players would be *excellent* second round picks...
Who else do you guys think is a possibility?
Who would you want?

You've got my 2, Pittsnoggle if we take a guard in the 1st. Brown if we take a big in the 1st.

I would be very, very happy with Dee Brown in the 2nd.

I'd add to your list a few more, depending on what position we add in the first round:

Will Blalock, Paul Davis, Louis Amundson, Mike Gansey, Leon Powe

Considering this year's first round is a crap shoot, the second round is utter chaos.

That said, if we can get Brown, I'll be extremely happy.

Paul Davis would be a good pick up. Didn't Leon Powe pull his name out??

The guy I want is Bobby Jones. I would bet money that he developes into a solid role player in the NBA.

Daniel Gibson

Does it matter who we take in the first round?

I mean, if you get somebody who's capable of contributing in the second round, you have to take them. So what if they play SF... if you get a rotation player from your second-round pick, you've done well.

That is a great point Anthem, the problem is trying to figure out what guys can contribute.

Bobby Jones, Hassan Adams or Leon Powe.

I am absolutely in Love with Dee Brown. I think that he would bring alot of positive energy to the team.

In years past, second round picks were lucky if they just made the roster. That still may be the case, even though we are not as deep as we once were.

if we don't take a guard first round, i'd say take one of the following points that are available: Dee Brown, Will Blalock, Daniel Gibson, Darius Washington

i was hoping James White would still be there, but it sounds like he's a possible first rounder or early 2nd
