Current?

Jay I never knew you really didn't like Rick. I mean I knew you weren't his biggest fan, but maybe compared to Jermanic you seem like a huge Rick fan.

My two favorites right now as Jeff and Danny.

Least favorite is Tinsley

Yeah, current.

All time, my fave would be Reg, with Artest my least fave (******* :pissed:).

I like Rick as a coach. He bugs me, but I understand why he's considered one of the top-five coaches. He's pretty good at a lot of things that don't get noticed because this team is a dysfunctional mess.

But three years is his maximum tenure. And this team is a horrible match for his fourth season. Unfortunately, his three seasons included an unpredecented brawl and an in-season trade demand from the same idiot. Its too bad we didn't have somebody else for the past three years and then decided to replace that pour soul that endured the Artest era with Rick - I could probably get behind that.

But even if we replace all fourteen players, its time for a new voice.

I'm not sure I have a current Pacer player that's my "favorite". Even the guys I like/ defend have shortcomings that I can't stand. Unfortunately, I think I said the same thing last summer. But I do like one of our assistant coaches.

I like Granger... Favorite? I dunno about that... It will be fun watching his career and seeing where he peaks tho.

Least favorite: Tinsley. Unquestionably. The only Pacer player that I can remember just totally despising.

If Granger can ever fit into a Josh Howard role for the Pacers, that would be perfect, and that will mean the Pacers are really good. If Granger is the Pacers best player that will mean the Pacers are only an average team.

I see DG fitting perfectly into the exact same role that Josh Howard plays. They aren't exactly alike, but they are similar in a lot of ways

My favorite is Danny. I don't really have a least favorite, it's just whoever has made the last knuckleheaded move.

favorite = Austin I guess. He's very limited but I never get the feeling that he's going through the motions or is unprepared.

least favorite = Jax. Not just for his whining but also for his streakiness and overall demeanor on the court.

Cheering for Jax is pretty much like having Antoine Walker on your team. No shot selection, streaky, whining, and every once in awhile he is hot as anything and his supporters ask how we could do without him.

If you eliminate Jax and Tinsley from the roster, you then have my favorite players.

I generally like all the players. And Stephen is the only reason for the qualifier. I believe basketball is a team game and refuse to single out any player for favorite.

I can't stand Larry. He is too much talk for me.

As for this Jermaniac vs. the Lithuianaians thing I would just like to say I am with Jerm. Saras is horrible. Juan Dixon and Steve Blake are they best two guards out of that Maryland group right now. Unite for the release of Scrubaviscius!!!

Favorite: Jeff Foster. Second only to Reggie, he was consistant in the way he played the game. You could count on him giving 100% every game.

Least Favorite: Travis Best. Never liked the way he hogged the ball until the shot clock ran down before doing anything. He'd dribble for 18-20 seconds and then try driving to the basket only by then it was too late for him to do anything.

My reasons for not liking Jackson has little to do with his basketball ability, but more to do with how he carries himself. I may be wrong, but didn't Stephen claim once that Indy's was not "hood enough" to understand him or stand behind him?

I have my own personal reasons for this to rub me the wrong way.... I hate when people glamorize ignorance!

.

Favorite is a RELATIVE term, so even if you dislike every player, the one that you dislike the LEAST is still by definition your favorite.

Got it?

I have to agree. I just love the way Danny plays the game.

My least favorite is Tins because he has broken my heart. He is really the core of this rotten apple. He is both a physical and a mental liability to this team. At least Ron-Ron was physically healthy. Tins is always injured and/or pouting. He is a key part of the attitude problem on this team. This is why he will be gone. What makes this particularly painful is that he is such a great talent. IMO, the first or second best talent on the team. What a shame.

It's funny that Danny Granger, a ROOKIE, is the favorite for many fans.

That's not a knock against Granger, but just imagine if this were the 2000 team. Fans wouldn't really care about him at all, he'd be well down on the list.

Shows how much things have changed.
