Did the officer find any pot? Or was it just the smell?

Did Randolph have a concealed weapons license?

If so, it is not a big deal.

The Oregonian - Legal troubles continue for Zach Randolph (http://www.realgm.com/src_playerfile/188/zach_randolph/) and the Portland (http://trailblazers.realgm.com/) Trailblazers, an organization that has claimed to be committed to insuring a problem-free team that has been absolutely plagued with problems.

Randolph was allegedly caught street racing with two loaded guns in his vehicle. Randolph was the passenger and the guns on-hand were licensed as consealed weapons.

Officer Matthew Wells also claimed that he could smell a distinct marijuana odor

What's the big deal?

how about "assuring" the author can't spell "concealed" either.

Guns are not licensed as "concealed weapons". The owner may be licensed to CARRY A CONCEALED WEAPON.

This guy does not have a brain. Portland will be lucky to get a set of sweaty jock straps for him.

I really don't see the problem if he truly is licensed to carry concealed weapons.

And the odor of marijuana...sheesh, need more than that...

Lets trade Jermaine O'Neal for him.

I would be willing to throw in Granger and our #17 pick too. :)

Another occurence of a writer using a famous person's name to get his column read. Randolph not only had the license to carry the weapons, but he was the passenger. Ad the cop smelled marijuana? This is pathetic, TRYING to get Randolph in trouble for nothing.

Well, maybe Zach should stay out of cars that smell like pot and not hang out with someone who wants to drag race. He should be waiting at home for Larry Bird to show up and offer him a job playing for the Pacers. (I'm looking for another excuse to never root for the Pacers again.)
