Choosing from today's NBA crop, if you could construct a team made up of players who haven't won a title yet to go for it for one season, what would it be?

PG Lebron
SG Dwade
SF Kirilenko
PF Nowitzki
C Garnett

That team will take what belongs to them.
Did you think of a starting 5, or a complete roster?

Pretty easy really - get your best position players not named Duncan, Shaq, Ben Wallace or Kobe.

I love Indiana, but that's a homer team if I've ever seen one.
Hell, Reggie doesn't even qualify.

PF - Jermaine O'Neal/Antonio Davis/Austin Croshere
SF - Al Harrington/Danny Granger/James Jones
SG - Peja Stojakovic/Fred Jones
PG - Jamaal Tinsley/Anthony Johnson/Sarunas Jasikevicius

Backups? That's tougher.

PG - Kidd
SG - Arenas
SF - T-Mac (hope his back holds up - 'melo might be my 2nd choice)
PF - Garnett
C - (This is where it gets tough) Amare - and hope his knee comes through. The potential upside if he's healthy beats the dog out of picking Brad Miller or Camby.

How can nobody say Iverson? He deserves it more then any other player in the NBA today.

Wheres artest?
Al harrington asked for a trade just like artest, and artest was a much better player
If we still had artest Im pretty sure we would be in the conference finals like we were 2 years ago

I am glad you did not include Stephen Jackson even in the all-time homer team.

Without reading any other picks first, I'll rattle of my list:

Steve Nash
Lebron James
Ron Artest
Kevin Garnett
Yao Ming

That's my 5 off the top of my head.

Ah, but you do! Remember, they allow 13-man rosters in the playoffs now. ;)
