Then you have 2 franchises in the finals that have never been to the finals before.

Has this happened before? If it has, does anyone know when? I'm sitting here thinking and certainly can't think of any within recent memory.

It had to have happened at least one other time. Think about it.

Happened at least once before (first year NBA began) but I am sure it would have had to happen more than that.

I think I counted 5 times, but they were all very early in the NBA history.

I thought this was a fill in the blank game. If so, my answer would have been "I won't stay up past the first half of any NBA Finals game." Would have said the same for Miami and Phoenix

Can you believe the games don't start until 9:00 (and probably won't tipoff until 9:20 or so), and are played on a weeknight? Kills those of us who have to get up early for work.

Did you mean to say "if Jess Kersey did his job"?
