Have to go with Mr. Value Proposition.

McClintic Sphere
05-26-2006, 09:16 AM
bulletproof is argumentative, but his arguments are almost uniformly well thought out. So I'm voting for him with that qualification.

Germaniac is most argumentative without reasonable cause.

btowncolt

Jermaniac's dat dude.

Is this the "most argumentative" or the "best argumentative"

bulletproof

Best

Jermaniac

Me and when the hell is the most hated one coming up I'm trying to win something.

Jermaniac

GermaniacYou have lost the right to inhale, now sit on your hands.

rexnom

Although I voted for KStat simply because he takes pretty much everyone on one-on-one argument, style, I have to say, it was damn close.

Jermainiac's dat dude and the rest have lost the right to inhale.

Damn, this may be the toughest one yet. All of these guys are like clockwork when it comes to slamming/defending the person/team that they're infamously tied to. Hmm... :chin:

I think bulletproof, Jermaniac, and Kstat are the frontrunners, because of the frequency with which they post. I'm going to go with Kstat on this one. Whenever the Pistons are being trashed on an internet message board, even subtlely, you know Big K will be there. :chuckle:

Jermaniac
05-26-2006, 10:22 AM
I didnt want to vote for KStat or Bball because they are not Pacers fans but both of them are close.

ChicagoJ
05-26-2006, 10:34 AM
Not a single vote yet for Bball?

That's a trav-sham-mockery. I'll fix that.

Mourning

Is this the "most argumentative" or the "best argumentative"

UB brings up a good point. I can't vote because I don't know if I'm supposed to vote for the person who was the quickest to make it to my ignore list because he was so argumentative or should I vote for someone who can argue with some semblance of intelligence.

And before anyone asks I'm not telling who is on my ignore list. It's tempting, but I don't do it.

Lastly, if my post has ticked anyone off, good. Maybe I'm already campaigning for next year's awards.

McClintic Sphere
05-26-2006, 11:09 AM
grace, if you are reading this, I took it as the person who makes the best argument, but certainly all the categories leave a degree of personal interpretation, so I always qualify to avoid being misinterpreted.

Will Galen

It says 'most' argumentative. KStat wins that.

ar·gu·men·ta·tive (är”gy…-mµn“t…-t¹v) adj. 1. Given to arguing; disputatious.

McClintic Sphere
05-26-2006, 11:59 AM
Well if you take it that literally, WG, then all you have to do is make the most arguments. Since that is easy, I chose to award the person who makes a lot of good arguments.

Hicks
05-26-2006, 12:09 PM
I've always taken this award to be the guy who argues over anything and everything. Probably the person least likely to give an inch in a debate, too.

DisplacedKnick
05-26-2006, 01:11 PM
I figured kstat would retire this award. I don't mind reading them because he usually has some basis for his points, but I've never known anyone with as much, uh, endurance when it comes to trying to get through to someone.

I don't think "agree to disagree" is very high on his list of conversation-enders.

How did I even get nominated for this?................

Unclebuck

I decided I'm going with the guy who makes the best arguments. bball is my guy for that

Will Galen
05-26-2006, 03:57 PM
Gee, we can't even agree what this vote is for, so what good is the result?

Will Galen

That would be best debater, not most argumentative.

We'll have a seperate poll for the master debater.

We'll have a seperate poll for the master debater.

I debate at least twice a day and always finish strong, so I'll expect your vote.

McClintic Sphere

We're going to have to have a new poll to see who is the most argumentative within the "Most Argumentative Poster" award thread.

I think Will gets my vote for that one so far.

I don't argue, I debate! Debaters offer something solid to back up their viewpoint. I offered up Websters.

People that like to argue don't have to be right or wrong. As my esteemed colleague Micky Mantle used to say, "I hit homer's with one arm." In other words it doesn't matter.

I voted for Kestas because his foriegn/domestic arguments seemed to come to the forefront for some reason. The other guys are all worthy as well.

How did I even get nominated for this?................

Obviously you argued with enough people.

Kstat
05-27-2006, 12:46 AM
I'm not sure he did. I just think they needed one more name........

Kestas
05-27-2006, 04:55 AM
voted for Kstat, coz he was leading at the moment and the more we get between anyone leading and Jermaniac, the better for the Humanity and World in general ;)

(Personal insult taken out (A))

That's what I thought, but then at least flatter me with one vote......

I must be reading the wrong threads, because I can't remember any serious argument that VA was involved in.

You must be. VA doesn't argue constantly like the Big Three, but when he does, he goes all out.

And for the record, I nominated VA. But then I also nominated him for Most Humorous, and nothing came of that.

This is only in regards to the Pacers and not absurd political views.

If you win this at least once more in the next two years, does that make you a dynasty? ;)

Thats true.

Like I said, its a matter of opinion, but from my pov I have have only really gone at it with one person here. I dont shy from confrentation, but I think argument and disagreements are healthy, as long as everyone can do it respectfully.
