Am I the only person that thinks NO ONE on the Knicks should be teaching the fundamentals of defense, let alone Stepon Marbury?

It's a typo. It should read "fundamentals of defeats."

Wrong typo. It was supposed to say "nonedamentals of defense"

Well if you think about it, putting your hands up in the NBA usually means you've given up on the play...

WTF?

Am I the only one who was taught taught to keep one hand low (to protect the crossover) and one hand high (to challenage the shot)?

WTF is that crap that Stephon is showing? I hope he is not really showing them that is the way to play defense.

BTW: I think that I know what the typo is. What Stephon is doing is showing kids how to surrender to the Police, not defense.

Kind of reminds me of the time that Dennis Scott went crazy at the Orlando Magic kids camp back in the 1990's.

Actually, in Starbury's annual long offseason, he holds what he calls, "Pentecostal Revivals Inspiring Challenged Kids." Some folks, however, don't like the fact that he used his initials for the acronym...

Which part is funny? The fact that it looks like somebody is grabbing him in the n.... or the Defense part? :D

I don't have anything funny to add, but this gets my vote for the funniest thread of the week. My first reaction that it was more of his exasperated "It's Coach's fault" speeches. But I think you all are much more on target.

Oh, did they change the name? Maybe I was wrong and it's Sheed that has the Pentecostal Revivals Inspiring Challenged Kids...

Yeah, I think that's right.

Ike, if I remember right back in 1996 or 1997, Dennis Scott was having some kind of kid camp sponsored by the Magic and the media was around and if I remember right he was making all kinds of weird gestures and venting his anger around the kids with the media... so that picture just reminded me of that, with his hands up and all... Just something that struck me as funny remembering that.

I remember that. One of the funniest sports moments I have ever seen. That guy really was crazy though.
