Since the Pacers got knocked out who are you pulling for and why?
Also If you had to bet all of you money on it who wins it all?

West.. Pulling for the Lakers because I hate Shaq and the Heat that much!

East.. Pulling for Lebron/Cavs... Because I hate the Heat, Pistons, and the Nets that much :)

All my money would have to go on: The Spurs, they are just to deep and have to much of a "complete team" plus a bucket load of experience. If it was Detroit and Spurs in the Finals game Spurs would take it in 5 max 6 like last year.

In the West.....the Mavs and the Clippers.

In the East...the only team that is capable of taking down both the Nets and the Pistons.....the Heat.

West - Dallas (I'm fine with any other team as well though)
East - Cleveland

The Spurs. I really don't care in the East.

On a side note, I got my picture taken with 4 of the Spurs' Silver Dancers at our schol carnival last night. They came for free and took pictures with people to help us raise money. If you are employed with a non-profit or a school and have fund raisers, make sure you ask every buisness you can think of to donate items. For our raffle we had Astros tickets, an autographed footbal from the Houston Texans, and a free Harley rental, just to name a few things. All people can do is say no.

I always just root for the team that is the underdog. Beyond that I root for the team that is behind in the series to win, all I want is to see good basketball and see every series go 7 games.

I kinda enjoy the Clippers though, and I love watching Mike Brown's press conferences, and did anyone else see Mike run across the floor when Damon hit that shot

I won't really pull for anyone since the Bulls are eliminated, but in a pinch I have varying degrees of feelings for teams that are still playing:

Cleveland: I'm fine with them because of Mike Brown.

Nets: Immensely dislike each and every member of their team and probably all of their coaches.

Miami: I never thought I'd be O.K. with any Shaq team winning, but I think I'd be O.K. with it. I'd rather have them win than Detroit or the Lakers.

Detroit: I can't imagine any scenario where I will ever for the rest of my life want the Pistons to win another game let alone another championship.

Clippers: I have no trouble with them except their coach and "I've never committed a foul in my entire life" Sam Cassell.

Dallas: I really don't like the team or their owner, but I like Avery Johnson so if my some miracle they end up winning it all I'll just have to be happy for him.

San Antonio: If by chance they don't make it to the finals I can be happy because it means they won't be showing Eva Longoria every 5 minutes during the games.

Phoenix: Provided they beat the Lakers  I can root for them because of JJ even though they have that slimy Steve Nash. :puke:

Lakers: I do not like anyone on that team. I don't think there is a head coach I like less than Phil Jackson. A hallway series holds to allure to me.

I would like to see the Mavericks making a splash this year in the west and I wouldn't mind the Nets beating the crap out of Miami either (though the opposite could just aswell happen).

I don't know ... I think one of the two finalists will be different this year and since I don't see Detroit not making it in the east, I guess it means San Antonio has to fall in the west. Detroit will probably win it all, alas (sorry Kstat).

Mourning

I could say the same of your team, Grace.

Of course, us having another home court in chicago must really irritate you... :D

The Spurs one in seven games last year. Not 5 or 6

I'm dyin' to see the all-L.A. series, so tonight I'm cheering for the Lakers. Then I would like to see an *epic* L.A. series with the Clippers winning in 7 to take on the Mavs in the WCF...I want the Clips to win and go to the finals.

In the east, I want the Nets to play the Pistons for the right to go to the finals and I want the Clips to pull out the Finals in a magical upset in 5 games (a la Pistons v. LA from 3 years ago)

Well I'm pullin for the Pistons to win the whole thing. Beat the Clips in the finals i hope.

Check the last 12 Box scores of Pistons games in the United Center. You'll get it.

Process of elimination:

I want to see the Pistons lose.
I want to see Miami lose.
I want to see the Spurs lose.

I feel no emotion about the Suns/Clippers series (other than the fact that I look forward to watching it).

ECFs: Nets/Cavs (I think it would be a more fun series to watch)
WCFs: Suns/Mavs (Ditto on the reason - more fun)

Finals: Suns/Cavs - new blood crowned either way.

What I think will probably happen:
ECFs: Detroit/Miami
WCFs: Spurs/Suns
Finals: Detroit/Spurs

Since every team I root for loses I am backing in this order: Detroit, Miami, NJ and the LA Lakers. (the Lakers could have been first)

Any of the others, I really don't care about except for Clippers, Suns, Mavericks and Spurs and Cavs :D
