Cavs on an 8-0 run to erase a 7-point deficit and take a 103-102 lead with 23.3 seconds left in regulation. Wiz ball.

Wow. Arenas blows a layup, and Cleveland gets the board.

Shade

Snow hits both FTs. 14.7 left, 105-102 Cavs. 10-0 run now, I believe.

Shade

Wow, Cleveland got away with a goaltend on that missed Arenas layup.

Please, not another OT. I have to work early in the morning.

Daniels hits both FTs. 105-104 Cleveland, 10.3 left.

Shade, you're talking to yourself. :p

But yeah, that easily could have been a goal tend. And I think that was a clean block that Jeffries had.

Shade

Flip to the line for 2. 9.9 left.

Shade
05-05-2006, 10:49 PM
Flip hits both.

Arenas stripped. 5 seconds left.

Dr Huxtable

Arenas!

Shade

Arenas hits a BOMB to tie it. 1.8 left.

I do what the voices tell me too. :uhoh2:

And, yeah, that definitely looked clean to me.

Varejao pulls a bonehead and inbounds the ball, costing Cleveland a couple of seconds and a ball advancement.

Overtime. Dammit.

Don't these guys realize I need sleep?!

I am and I'll say it again - I love Arenas and I wish he was a Pacer! Awesome.

That shot by Arenas looked like a few that were hit against the Pacers this year.

Shade you can't go to sleep the Kings and Spurs are coming up.

This series has now crossed into classic status.

I want the Cavs to win the series, but I'd love to see a 7th game

The Spurs and Kings game is being shown on ESPN 2

I'm taking the SAT early in the morning, and I plan on staying up for Kings/Spurs. You can do it too Shade. ;)

It's just as well. Whenever I see Artest in a Kings uni, I have to control my urge to spit on the TV. :grumble:

Here we go. Wiz lead 113-112 with the ball and 16.3 left after Snow throws it away.

Dr Huxtable

Wow, Arenas really choked there.

Shade

Arenas misses BOTH free throws.

Come to think of it, he would be perfect in a Pacers uni.

Damon Jones hits the game winner. Cavs advance.

Hot damn, what a game.

I feel really bad for Arenas.

Jermaniac

How the hell do you miss both Gilbert? What a shame. Now this fool Damon Jones makes the game winner, like his ego needed to get any bigger.

Those missed free-throws by Arenas cost 'em the game. Too bad for them. So it's gonna be the Pistons vs. the Cavs eh? Should be a good series.

Pistons vs. LeBron

Somewhere, Stern is twiddling his fingers and saying "excellent."

Word here is that there will be a FOUR-day gap between games 2 and 3 so ABC can have it on saturday afternoon.

I saw part of it. When he talked about how great Eddie Jordan and his staff were, I thought, "Well, he's got the 'bald-face lying to the media' part of coaching down pat."

Didn't you see on PTI after the game before this one where Michael Wilbon said that he heard Eddie tell the team during the time out to guard the short side and the baseline? Then LeBron got the ball on the short side and drove across the baseline. I suppose you could blame the coach because the team won't listen to him.

I really have no opinion of Eddie Jordan except it's Michael Jordan's fault for firing Gar Herd in the first place. (Kstat, don't bother replying. I know you don't like Gar.)

Yeah, I saw it. Coaches all the time blame themselves when the players don't listen to them, so why can't I?

I don't see how anyone could not like the man who hit "the shot heard 'round the world (NBA version)".

A FOUR day period between games two and three??? :tsk:

Indeed ridiculous. Talk about hyping a player.
