If JONeal and Peja is out....I really wouldn't be surprised if Tinsley miraculously becomes healthy and backs up AJ and Sarunas shifts over to backup Freddie at the starting SG spot.

I still think that JONeal will play......but I think he should only play for about 20 minutes backing up Foster and Pollard. In fact...I think he should play long enough to breathe on all the starters on the Nets lineup. Hopefully he can spread the "love" around.....and get them all sick by Game 6.

Can we just concede this one and move on to a more interesting game? No way in hell NJ loses at home with the Pacers being in the state they're in right now.

Of course, that won't stop me from watching like a dope, but still...

I will be at Texas Roadhouse for dinner tonight, likely I'll be in the middle of eating when the game starts, and I won't be home until at least half-time. Why do I mention it? I can fast-forward through commercials to let the misery be over in less than two hours. :D :(

Actually, I'm waiting to hear an update on the lineups because they might start Granger at SF anyway and keep SJax at SG.

Nets shooting 63% but only up 28-25? Works for me. Vaughn and Collins are not going to knock down many more jumpers. Nads as usual is the issue. Maybe Pollard can give him a Reggie Evans style reach-under. ;)

Well, the Nets are attrocious at closing games out. Wouldn't be surprised if we won this game by 30. We just dig ourselves in a hole in the first half.

Carlisle has made some nice adjustments, one with the 2-3 zone and the other is that someone is rotating over to Kristic and they're not giving him that midrange shot....

They need to stop that damn curl though......You can't trail the curler just like Clark said. The 2-3 zone should stop that though....

I do. He has rallyed the team pretty well I agree but he still doesnt make the best plays at crucial times like the end of quarters which can be very important.

But as people say for the players it also has to be said about the coach. Dont let the playoffs fool you into thinking everythings rosey.

Yeah...no kidding.......this is pretty much true for the JONeal as well. When both SJax and JONeal settles for their mid-range jumpers...instead of posting up ( and therefore taking some physical abuse ).....then we have a greater chance of losing.

When they figure out that they should be more post-up players then settling for the Jumpshots...then we are able to stay close in games.

Ah...nothing like a typical 0-10 run for the Pacers at the start of the 3rd quarter.

Yeah, that's how it's been all game. Dangit, we get the lead down to 3 or 5 and they get it back to double digits within 2 minutes.

No frickin kidding......that's the Artest side of SJax that rubbed off on him before he was jettisoned to KingsVille.

When we are in need of consistent play in order to simply score.....SJax tries to be the hero and save the day by jacking up another 3pt shot. Nevermind that he is only 1-4 from beyond the Arch.
