bad idea by JO to force it inside when Krstic gave him the jumper.

THe charge was a good call. He was trying to create something that wasnt there.

Kstat

This has to be the most quiet Pacers Playoff crowd on record

You expect an empty seat to create noise?

Maybe if they filled each seat with woopie cushons....

at least a simlated fart sound at the right moment might cause a NJ player to miss a wide open shot..

317Kim
04-27-2006, 07:48 PM
It was okay in the beginning. The crowd boo'ed. That was it though.

Eh, I love listening to Bill Raftery. He's a genius as a commentator.

KStat as a neutral watcher of this series what did you think about the first 2 games and do you think the officials were to blame for our loss??? I havent seen what someone who doesnt support either Pacers or Nets thinks about the games.

Big Smooth
04-27-2006, 07:57 PM
Our defensive rotations are too farking slow. All New Jersey needs to do is pass the ball well and they get great looks from the perimeter.

317Kim
04-27-2006, 07:57 PM
FRED!!! He's dunking in our house. Let's get his mind right.

I never blame the officials for losing.

I might curse them, mutter under my breath about how much I hate them, but I would never, ever excuse my team from losing by blaming a loss on the officials. Quality basketball beats bad officiating any day of the week.

I admit I only watched bits and pieces of games 1 and 2, but today so far I have yet to see a call I disagreed with. The refs tonight look pretty good to me.

Evan_The_Dude
04-27-2006, 08:02 PM

27-22 Nets.

Kstat

Croshere is freaking horrible. Good God make some kind of damn impact on the game.

I've never hated VC soo much until recently. He and Violet Palmer have hopped up my list.

04-27-2006, 08:07 PM
JO!!!!! SWWIISH! 16 points.

Kstat
04-27-2006, 08:07 PM
JO should take that open 15-footer all night. He doesnt have to force it.

317Kim
04-27-2006, 08:08 PM
Violet Palmer has been up there on everybody's list for years.

She didn't bother me much until the other day. She was always around top 30 but now in my top 5.

Runi makes it a one point game.

31-30 Nets

Moses

Let's get Runi some confidence in his shot again. We could use his offense.

J_2_Da_IzzO
04-27-2006, 08:18 PM
Need to get some stops tho.

pizza guy
04-27-2006, 08:18 PM
Can the Nets miss tonight? JO is playing great, but the rest of the gang needs to step up alittle, especially on D. NJ is making way too many shots.

Jermaniac
04-27-2006, 08:18 PM
Omg Croshere can you make a damn basket

Kstat
04-27-2006, 08:19 PM
Nj is shooting very well by their standards.

SO long as Indy stick to its gameplan, I like their chances moreso than NJ continuing to be marksmen.

317Kim
04-27-2006, 08:19 PM
Yeah, we're scoring pretty good but getting stops just seem impossible. Hard to maintain a lead when we trade baskets.

cramerica
04-27-2006, 08:20 PM

Moses
04-27-2006, 08:21 PM

Nets shooting well holding onto there lead.

317Kim

Phewww! Got bailed out there.

Oh dear, both Peja and Runi have missed FTs. Cro has missed a dunk.

Jermaniac
04-27-2006, 08:22 PM
Why is Croshere playing?

Indy drawing a lot of fouls tonight.

choking bad uh?

Kstat
04-27-2006, 08:23 PM
Krstic is so damn good.

Plays a lot like McDyess, but taller and less physical.

When a big guy masters that turnaround fade..youre just at his mercy.

J_2_Da_IzzO
04-27-2006, 08:23 PM
Not even 2 of the best free throw shooters in the league can hit a pair for Pacers.

cramerica
04-27-2006, 08:23 PM
This guy has been killing us the whole series.

pizza guy
04-27-2006, 08:23 PM
Yeah, with the Nets shooting like this, you really can't assume they'll continue this % because it's well above their norm - especially from behind the arc. As long as JO keeps up the intensity, and we get someone else to step up a little - and Cro stops sucking this bad- I like our chances.

317Kim
04-27-2006, 08:24 PM

pizza guy
04-27-2006, 08:41 PM
l'll take that, considering our defense didn't show up AT ALL in the first half.

NJ has hit everything they've thrown up, and the Pacers have been really not too bad on offense, but not as effecient it seems as NJ. That'll change, hopefully. Maybe the homecourt comes to play in the second half, maybe NJ just gets worn out. Hopefully it's just that the Pacers step it up and beat them.

Right now, I'll take 4 pts. at the half.

Aw Heck
04-27-2006, 08:41 PM
Some first half thoughts:

-Pacers are getting the same treatment from the refs that the Nets received in New Jersey. As a result, Jermaine has actually been able to play and stay on the floor...

-...Unfortunately, the Nets are red hot from the outside. They just aren't missing. 56% from the floor, I think. That's crazy. If they shoot under 50%, I think the Pacers are leading in this game. Hopefully the Nets will come back down to Earth.

-The Pacers need to make their free throws. If this ends up being a close game down the stretch (and it looks like it will be), those missed free throws could end up being costly.
