BTW, I purposely left off a "All of the above" choice because it's too easy to simply pick that one without giving the poll much extra thought.

04-10-2006, 06:36 PM
WOOT! Let's get a win tonight. It'd feel great. Well atleast that's how I remember it feeling.

Jermaniac

Jermaniac
04-10-2006, 07:15 PM
My 64 year old grandma runs the break better then Anthony Johnson. WAY TO GO FOOL

Lord Helmet
04-10-2006, 07:15 PM
Like I said, we have to be one of the worst fastbreaking team in the league. EVEN with Tinsley.

Aw Heck
04-10-2006, 07:16 PM
Well, the team is showing once again that they've packed it in for the season. Maybe they want to miss the playoffs too?

If that crowd is any indication, Conseco will look a lot like the Philips Center in Atlanta if the team goes into rebuilding mode.

Miller4ever
04-10-2006, 07:16 PM

Strange thing I was listening to Mark and Slick on WIBC. Said they don't think they have ever seen such a low attendance for a Pacers game since Conseco opened.

Lord Helmet

I love that intensity on defense, when the Knicks are allowed to penetrate at ease.

JO with 2 fouls.

317Kim
04-10-2006, 07:18 PM
It's tied at 8. We have the ball.
JO postin up..and is called for an Offensive foul. Damn. thats two on JO.

Lord Helmet
04-10-2006, 07:24 PM
No team is attempting to play interior defense. The only way the Pacers will get a defensive rebound is if the ball lands in their hands.

Thoughts while watching the game.

AJ needs to pass to the first guy that's open on out of bounds plays. Looking for a particular player is dumb when there's no assurance the player he's looking for will be open.

Jax needs to shoot instead of pass when he's right under the hoop.

JO neds to just play and not flop trying to draw fouls.

The Pacers just let players drive to the hoop. That's two since I started counting.

Comment on Jax from the NY announcers. Selfish in not giving the ball back to Peja.

Cro is taking Grangers min. He just came in the game at the time Granger usually does.

Another drive in the paint.

Cro shoots knock kneed.

Missed drive to the hoop by NY. Now 3-4.

Another drive. NY now 4-5 on drives.

NY 4-6 on drives.

First quarter 24-24.

Now NY is knocking down jumpers and getting a lead. Geesh!

NY 5-7 on drives. Indiana bad at keeping their man in front of them.

Steve Nash commerical. I'd like to se him with a haircut just once. I think he would look better with longer or shorter hair.

Granger wasn't in very long.

Foster gets a lot of one handed rebounds.

Frances drive. NY 6-8.

NY 6-9.

Flops aren't being called. Rose Floped on JO and got called for a foul. Announcers complaining it shouldn't have been called. I think if a flopper gets called for a foul he deserves it.

NY alleyoop. Seems to me it's mental if you let teams have a lot of alleyoops.

Another NY drive. Foster called for foul announcers say shouldn't have recieved.

Half 48-46 Pacers.

I'm not going to do the second half because I miss things while typing.

Why on earth has JO only taken 3 shots?

This is what I mean about the whole team being confused. Our best player has taken less or an equal amount of shots then 2 of our bench players.

We are and its true. Forgetting the Pacers since we suck worse than the Knicks:

How in the hell do refs keep their jobs? If I did my job this poorly (on both sides, not against us)....Just if I did my job this poorly, I WOULDN"T HAVE ONE.

The premier Basketball league can't even find good refs? Go figure.

The thing with AJ is that when he's on the court no one really knows where the offense is going. But when Tinsley's on the court and not jacking up shots, this teams seems more confident in what they are doing.

When Jax is the hot hand its safe to say he will stay on court. Its when JO and Peja heat up that they come off.

My bad - I thought you were talking about my post which was right before that with the "get the hate out of your heart".

Anyway - I like the intensity right now.

I'll probably get flamed for this, BUT what the hell.....

Does anyone else wonder why we've gotten WORSE since our starters have come back?? I know we haven't had practice time etc., but we seem to be a lot worse now then when JO and Tins were permanent fixtures on the injured list.

JO talks, but hasn't backed it up since the 60 win season. Well, to be fair, since prior to the stupied brawl. We were the best team in the league prior to the brawl.

How did it get to this?????? Scary how fast you can fall.

Wow how'd we get the lead? Just turned it back on to check the score. I assume Peja went on some scoring binge.

One aspect of Jamaal's game that goes under-rated is his rebounding. He gets some crazy offensive boards during games (usually following up his miss), and he can grab the defensive board too. That's important, if a coach ever lets him run because if he can get that board and then run out on transition it's very helpful.

Great, great effort by Foster tonight!

Very good. Defence forces Knicks to run iso's.

Cro has 9 boards and Feisty with 8.

Tins missed a 3. Taylor missed.

3-30 three pointers. That's for Jamaal :(

If Rick is smart he will rest Jamaal right now so he can finish the game. I dont have the confidence Rick will do that but who knows maybe we will get an insurmountable lead before he takes Jamaal out.

One aspect of Jamaal's game that goes under-rated is his rebounding.

That and his ability to get the other team in foul trouble. When he came in earlier the Knicks had 0 team fouls and he drew 2 within a minute.

So is it good Pacer D or bad Knick O?

Well, it's obvious that AJ is the safe PG, but we aren't going anywhere with him running the point. A focused Tinsley is what we need. Tinsley should be starting, but he should be benched if he has really horrible game where he jacks up shots.
