Wow. Looks like he's going to be okay, though.

Denver Nuggets player wounded in early morning shooting

DENVER - 9News has learned, from independent sources, that Denver Nuggets Guard Julius Hodge was wounded in an early morning shooting on I-76. Hodge's injuries are reportedly not life threatening.

The shooting happened at about 2:20 Saturday morning, according to the Adams County Sheriff Office. Hodge was apparently traveling near I-76 and Pecos. When investigators arrived, they found an empty black car with multiple gun shot holes. Investigators say one victim was driven to a hospital by a Good Samaritan before officers arrived. I-76 was closed for more than four hours during the investigation.

Westbound I-76 was closed for more than four hours so law enforcement could investigate. It's still unclear who shot Hodge and if he was the intended target. The investigation is ongoing.

Hodge has played sparingly for the Nuggets this season. He played seven minutes in a game against Utah on January 20th, his most playing time in one game this season.

I wonder if we can trade for him. Since the team is full of holes, he'd fit right in. :rimshot:

This guy seems to be getting into trouble all the time......this isn't his first run in with the law during his tenure with the Nuggets.
