PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Ray Allen scored 38 points and moved into second place on the career 3-pointers list.
Juan Dixon matched his season high with 28 points and Theo Ratliff added 14 points and nine rebounds for the Blazers, who couldn't avenge a 122-83 loss to the Sonics on Sunday in Seattle.

Chris Wilcox had 20 points, 10 rebounds and six assists for Seattle, which has won three games in a row for the first time since Dec. 4.

Allen moved past former Sonic Dale Ellis on the 3-point list, hitting the 1,720th of his career in the second quarter. A nine-year veteran, Allen is still more than 800 3's short of all-time leader Reggie Miller.

At the rate Allen is hitting threes, in the next five years it appears he could pass Reggie for most three pointers taken and hit.

Counting this year, over the last 4 years he has hit 795. He's hit 237 so far this year which is his best year. At this moment he is 837 behind Reggie, so 4 more good years and he's right on Reggie's doorstep. A fifth year should move him past Reggie.

Of course it depends on his health. He's 31 now and five years would make him 36. Interestingly his present contract only runs though the next 4.

At this point it doesn't look like Peja has a chance.

Reggie) 18 years, 2,560-6,498 threes, .395%.
Ray) 10 years, 1,723-4,330 threes, .398%
Peja) 8 years, 1,139-2,864 threes, .398%
