I won't be surprised if JO sits tonight; TNT people said he'd be in an on-off-off pattern for a while.

317Kim
04-04-2006, 06:51 PM
Indeed. It's a win or die situation.

:boomer:

I won't be surprised if JO sits tonight; TNT people said he'd be in an on-off-off pattern for a while.I thought it was just for back to backs I doubt JO would sit after 3 days of rest

I won't be surprised if JO sits tonight; TNT people said he'd be in an on-off-off pattern for a while.

I'm being optimistic in my predicted lineup (or deluded possibly ;) )

Hicks
04-04-2006, 07:17 PM
Good point about the time off, Jermaniac.

Lord Helmet
04-04-2006, 07:50 PM
I thought I had also heard that after the last sit out for JO; that it would be his last and he would play out the rest of the season and into the playoffs. (If we make it, of course.)

J_2_Da_IzzO
04-04-2006, 07:52 PM
Last game he looked pretty good to me and there was less sign of the injury he had.

Pacersfan.
04-04-2006, 08:08 PM
Jermaine's playing, but Jones isn't playing.

317Kim
04-04-2006, 08:09 PM
What? No Fred tonight?

04-04-2006, 08:17 PM
Nope, Freddie's not playing because of his thumb.

Jermaniac
04-04-2006, 08:21 PM
Damn could have used Fred against their small ball team

317Kim
04-04-2006, 08:22 PM
:sigh: well thanks for letting me know ahead so that I won't be extra down when I wouldn't see him come 10 mins into the first.

I thought his thumb was okay..it seemed okay last time. Torn Ligaments SUCK!

cramerica
04-04-2006, 08:39 PM
The bulls commentator just said about SJ

"Stephen Jackson, well he's an interesting character to say the least. And he DOES NOT play defense."

317Kim
04-04-2006, 08:41 PM
JO puts us up 4-2.

cramerica
04-04-2006, 08:42 PM
Nice putback by Jeff.

317Kim
04-04-2006, 08:42 PM
Jack missed a three but Feisty lays it in for 2.
6-2 Pacers

Bulls convert but Peja counters by hitting a 3.
:boombaby:
9-4 Pacers!

Missed a few sequences but they tie it up at 9. and now theres a T on Jack.

cramerica
04-04-2006, 08:42 PM
BOOM BABY!

cramerica
04-04-2006, 08:43 PM
Yikes Jeff. How about some defense on Sweetney?

cramerica
04-04-2006, 08:44 PM
SJ with a tech. Great.

cramerica
04-04-2006, 08:44 PM
12-9 Bulls.

Lord Helmet
04-04-2006, 08:44 PM
Get Jackson the hell out. He doesn't get back on D and then picks up a T.

He's nearing close to be thrown out, as he's still mouthing like a dumbass.

GROW UP.

Lord Helmet
04-04-2006, 08:45 PM
Now the Bulls are on a roll.

cramerica
04-04-2006, 08:45 PM
Peja keeping us in it. 14-11.

Lord Helmet
04-04-2006, 08:45 PM
What a bad call on Jeff.

cramerica
04-04-2006, 08:46 PM

Indeed. Great job of yet again not even bothering to get back on defense while *****ing at the ref SJax! I've defended him a lot earlier in the season but not anymore. It's past the point of defense for me. He should be benched for the rest of the game just to make a point for standing there and not hustling back on D.

cramerica
04-04-2006, 08:47 PM
Nice Peja. 14-13.

Lord Helmet
04-04-2006, 08:47 PM
Peja is looking good out there, with 7 points.

Keep feeding him!

317Kim
04-04-2006, 08:47 PM
Peja hits another one!

13-14 Bulls.

Sweetney fouls JO that's his 2nd.
JO shootin two!
He makes both and we're up 15-14!

Lord Helmet

I agree with that. But will Rick do it?

cramerica
04-04-2006, 08:48 PM
They just called JO Stephen Jackson.

cramerica
04-04-2006, 08:48 PM
JO has been doing alot better at the line.

cramerica
04-04-2006, 08:49 PM
Bad call again. Pacers not doing to bad with the exception of Jax stupidity.

J_2_Da_IzzO
04-04-2006, 08:50 PM
JO seems to be getting better each game with his passing and decision making.

Big Smooth

If we win tonight, we win the tie-breaker with the Bucks.

Please win.

cramerica
04-04-2006, 08:53 PM
Damn, I jinxed him at the line. My bad.

Jinx off.

317Kim
04-04-2006, 08:53 PM
JO shooting two again.
Missed the first.
DANGER IS IN!
Made the second.

Down 2. JO has 7 points.

DEFENSE!!

cramerica
04-04-2006, 08:53 PM
Thank you.

Division record tiebreaker?

Lord Helmet
04-04-2006, 08:54 PM
I really think Jackson should not be put back in. It's obvious this will be a pouting night and we don't need anymore negative vibe.

cramerica
04-04-2006, 08:54 PM
The bank is open for Peja.

317Kim
04-04-2006, 08:54 PM
Deng hits a J.
That was a BAD turnover.

20-16 Bulls

Peja!!!

20-18. DEFENSE!!

NVM Heinrich layed it in.

22-18.

Lord Helmet
04-04-2006, 08:54 PM
Division record tiebreaker?
Yeah, we'd win it because we have a better division record.

Lord Helmet
04-04-2006, 08:55 PM
Jamaal, please don't shoot.

cramerica
04-04-2006, 08:55 PM
Anybody else getting this "Channel 7 'VC for E' not authorized." message?

THIS SUCKS! Put the game back on.

Big Smooth
04-04-2006, 08:55 PM

Channel 7 "VC for E" not authorized??

317Kim

24-18 Bulls.

cramerica
04-04-2006, 08:55 PM
Nevermind, it's a directv thing I guess. It just came up. This is crap though. I can't see the game.

cramerica
04-04-2006, 08:56 PM
There. It's back up. What happened to cause the TO PGurl?

Pacersfan.
04-04-2006, 08:56 PM
Please just give Peja the ball and let him shoot.

317Kim
04-04-2006, 08:56 PM
Giggle at cramerica and Big Smooth. Looks like you've got the same problems. :-p

317Kim
04-04-2006, 08:57 PM
There. It's back up. What happened to cause the TO PGurl?

Bulls got up 6 and Rick hopped off the bench to call the timeout.

Big Smooth
04-04-2006, 08:57 PM
Please just give Peja the ball and let him shoot.

GIVE THAT MAN A HARRUMPH!!!!

I'd make sure Peja takes no less than 15-20 shots per night.

cramerica
04-04-2006, 08:57 PM
Does anybody else wish we had a fast PG like a Nash or a Heinrich?

317Kim
04-04-2006, 08:57 PM
Jack dunks it! nice play outta the timeout. 20-24 Bulls.

cramerica
04-04-2006, 08:58 PM

Im happy with Tins when he looks for the open guy or drives and dishes.

I hate him when he goes into one on ones and chucks up stupid shots.

cramerica
04-04-2006, 08:59 PM
Crowd gave Peja a big applause for leaving the game.

Aw Heck
04-04-2006, 09:00 PM

04-04-2006, 09:03 PM
He is gonna be our clutch guy. He has no apprehension to throw it up at the end of a period, game, shot clock, anything.

cramerica
04-04-2006, 09:04 PM
That was a huge shot by DG. Hopefully that will help us get it going in the 2nd.

J_2_Da_IzzO
04-04-2006, 09:04 PM
The opposing teams always go on runs after Rick takes off the hot hand/s. Why wont he learn?

He needs to be a little more careful with the ball.

sweabs
04-04-2006, 09:07 PM
I've said it many times before, but I think the Bulls TV guys are the most annoying in the NBA. They mess up player names with consistent regularity, and the "colour" guy is almost always complaining about the refs. He might have the most "whiney" voice in history, as well.

cramerica
04-04-2006, 09:07 PM
BOOM BABY! Sarunas.

Lord Helmet
04-04-2006, 09:07 PM

Jermaniac
04-04-2006, 09:09 PM
If you wear a Indiana Pacers uniform you have to get shot and stabbed to get to the FT line.

Lord Helmet
04-04-2006, 09:09 PM
Keep riding this. Don't let up, damnit.

We NEED this game.

317Kim
04-04-2006, 09:09 PM

HORRIBLE Call. That's a non-call right there.

WHON (one of Indiana's radio stations) keeps on looping an excuse that they have an agreement with content owners and they literally want to **** on the heds of their listeners right now.

maybe some other station is broadcasting it online?

317Kim
04-04-2006, 09:14 PM
Runi gets blocked.

are you listening or are you watching?
WHON (one of Indiana's radio stations) keeps on looping an excuse that they have an agreement with content owners and they literally want to **** on the heds of their listeners right now.

maybe some other station is broadcasting it online?
I'm listening online with WKWH 94.3 FM. Go to www.thegamelive.com and click on the web site to the right and click on listen live.

One day a ball that was shot by Tinsly will injure someone who is expecting it to at least hit a rim

When Peja got those offensive boards under the basket and missed both times, He was fouled about 78 times there. Chandler hit him in the head with his eblow and was actually holding him down from jumping, the ref is standing right in front of them HOW IN THE HELL DO YOU MISS THAT YOU MORON.

I can hear a very enthusiastic crowd...are they chanting? And what are they chanting? Is it for Sarunas or Peja? You know the Europeans - they are always cheering...it's great!

just some Europeans (Lithuanians probably), who came to watch basketball.. if there would be Songaila on the field, they would cheer him as well..
btw, imagine that 90% of the viewers in the arena are like that. that's what we have here in Europe. you will not hear sneekers squeeking during the game, never.

I think there was some chanting of "Lietuva" out there.. not surprising, Chicago has the largest Lithuanian community in US.

By the way, you realize that those of us with NBATV get to watch European ball quite often? :D

Hah - nope...AEK doesn't ring a bell. And an empty arena for European ball would have stuck out in my mind because every game I watch has an awesome environment. I love how active fans are...they can just let loose.

When I go to games, I like to be that way as well. Unfortunately, I got a few stares from people while I was in Indiana because apparently I was too enthusiastic...which bothered me. Some places are better than others...Indiana just seems to be too conservative. Detroit is much better - Toronto is also better for letting loose.

It makes me a little ashamed too.

That is so true.

The couple sitting in front of me didn't clap their hands ONE TIME. Clap their hands...that's it...all that you need to do. It's not hard. But they didn't do it once, nor did they yell, scream, say words of encouragement, etc. They weren't even watching the basketball, but just talking for the most part.

So when there was a good play like a big dunk or 3 pointer that was a momentum changer, I'd stand up and yell for the team...(I'd do it all game long if I could...but I understand that I don't want to bother people too much...so I'm only doing it once in a while). Anyway - they just turn around at the same time and give me a real cold stare. It pissed me off.

At halftime I "apologized" for cheering my team on and they really didn't say much. Then when I said I travelled a long way to watch the game (2nd row courtside nonetheless) they felt bad and said "Oh...well, God knows you paid enough for this vacation / voyage. Go ahead and cheer then!"......

I hate such people too. however, they are the spenders imho. I think this may be the key to insanely successfull ticket sales in NBA. in Europe if you go to the game and do not buy the most expensive tickets, you will surely lose your voice and will have a serious workout waving and standing up ;) however, those, who pay the most, do not cheer like the others do. so basically if you want to sell more tickets, you have to encourage the passive, controlled environment imho, because majority of people can't relax and feel more comfortable just chewing/drinking something and geting a moderate cheer or a clap here and there..
