If we can't get into the playoffs with this creampuff schedule, then there's absolutely no doubt we need to blow this whole thing up in the offseason.

The damn Pistons game is the only game we should be allowed to lose, the only game. If we lose to the Knicks and Raptors our players should *removed*

I say we'll go 7-3.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that we will go 3-7 in that span.

I'm going to lower my expectations so that I can feel that much better if we go .500...

Then again, it may not be lowered expectations since we can't seem to beat bad teams in the first place.

Knowing our team we will beat the Pistons, go back home and lose to the Knicks at Conseco.

I predict 5-5

FYI, our combined record against these teams this season so far is a whopping 8-11.

That would put us around a 4-6 (39-43) finish.

I'm going pessimistic here: 4-6

@ :bulls: W - As hard as the Pacers seem to want to tank the season with their play, the Bulls want to tank more.

:raptors: L The Pacers haven't beaten the Raptors all season. Look for the trend to continue.

@ :knicks: L Pacers are a bad road team, and they lost to Knicks last time AT HOME.

@ :thepiston: L No explanation needed

:knicks: W I'm guessing the Pacers pull this one out for no particular reason.

:celtics: L Pacers haven't beaten the Celtics all season. The trend continues.

:timberwol W Pacers pull this one out.

@ :bobcats: L Bobcats outwork the Pacers in this one.

@ :raptors: L Pacers get sweeped in another season series

:magic: W Pacers end the regular season with a win.

Pacers finish 39-43

If we lose in Chicago we'll only be a game and a half up on them. The playoffs are far from gauranteed at this point.

Chicago and Boston will give us tough games because they are fighting for a playoff spot as well. How we respond is up in the air.

The Raptors will likely be without Bosh for the rest of the season, so that's fortunate from our point of view.

Orlando has been playing real good ball as of late.........

If Rick will play Sarunas more than token minutes at PG we will go 6-4 during this stretch. If not we will go 3-7 and miss the PO's.

But this would set us up for a good draft pick so its not all bad. :)

Scary thing is, I agree with that breakdown pretty much. I could see us taking one of the Toronto games (God help us if we go 0-8 against the Hawks and Craptors), and another one somewhere as well. So, I guess I'll predict a 6-4 finish and the 7th playoff spot, with a 4-1 drubbing at the hands of Miami.

Really? They've won their last 2 games and are only a game out of 8th place. If they're trying to tank they're doing a bad job of it.

I trust the word of the resident Bulls fan.

If we go 5-5, it will be a minor miracle. I say we go 4-6 and face Miami in the first round.

I kind of laughed when I read the title of this thread - "With 10 games remaining, 9 are against losing teams". With no disrespect to the author Shade, unfortunately we find ourselves a "losing team" by definition. Never would have imagined and still it seems surreal.

We play horribly against losingt teams - I would feel better if we were playing winning teams.

I am beginning to think we are at the beginning of a downward spiral and we will be on the outside looking in.

I think your right about the downward spiral. But IF we don't make the playoffs then TPTB will have NO CHOICE (unless they want to lose at the gate) but to make drastic changes. So if that be the case then I am fine with that.

All I know is the last two good moments I've had as a Knick fan came when I was sitting in Conseco. I couldn't begin to explain either game.

I say 7-3, and then beaten miserably in the playoffs.
That would sum up the season well.

Guess I'm having a pessimistic moment.

9-1

If we go 9-1, I will personally start a thread appologizing to the Pacers organization for ever doubting them.

Longest this season was a 4-game winning streak against the Lakers (2/1), Pistons (2/4), Blazers (2/8), and Warriors (2/10).

Before that we had 2 separate 3-game winning streaks.

I say 7-3 to finish 42-40

I think whether the Pacers make the playoffs or not will be decided Tuesday night. That game decides the tie-breaker, as the Bulls shave the better conference record

If the Pacers win it will mean a 5 game lead. If the Bulls win it will be down to a 2 game lead. Wow so that game is like 3 games.

I agree, it will be a huge game.

I just hope we win.
