Initially, I got curious...then I saw "missed 23 games due to injury" and then Bickerstaff pretty much put Rush's value in the cellar with the words

“The Bobcats are about two things – hard work and maximum effort,” Bickerstaff said. “With that in mind, we think that it is best to go in a different direction with Kareem.

and I lost all interest.

Even with that, I think someone will pick him up, whether its this year or next.

Why where you interested in the first place? Where would we play him? He isnt better then Freddie, he sucks in everygame other then when he plays us. When he plays us he hits 10 3's a game cause our players dont know the meaning of challenging shots.

He's a good spot-up shooter. He'd fit in well on a team like Phoenix where he could get lot's of open looks.

Any other team with a dominating force that opens things up for perimeter players would probably take a look at him as well (Spurs, Heat, etc.).

Kareem Rush was never an NBA-caliber player. I\'m not sure how he\'s lasted this long to be honest.

Remember the Kareem Rush vs. Fred Jones hindsight draft debates?

Yup. "Two Players Forever Linked."

If Gerald Greene ever turns into something, we'll start one for him and Granger.

He hits 10 3's per game against us because we didn't take him 14th like we were supposed to, and as a result he fell to the Lakers, much later in the draft. Same reason Tinsley seems to play very well against the Hawks.
