View Full Version : heywoode's pics from Suns game/Reggie ceremony

I went into the game knowing that we would probably lose and that the night was all about Reggie as far as I was concerned. That helped my patience level considerably. For not having JO, we didn't play the Suns too badly.

For the first time ever, I left a Pacer game before the final buzzer...The wife was tired and it was a long drive back to Huntington. We left just into the fourth quarter.

I liked the ceremony alot. I thought Mark Boyle did a great job of emceeing....I would have to say that I liked the ceremony last April 20th better, or at least it was more emotional for me.

On to the pics...

Now THIS is dedication! I need to get hooked up with my Pacers tat!!

Reggie looked very comfortable and like he was taking it all in and enjoying himself on his special night.

Player intros...

Tinsley making a few last minute adjustments....I thought maybe he had to borrow a pair of Hulk's shorts there for a minute...

Hardhat Guy, Bill the Pill, and Ponytail boy shared a poignant moment.

I was glad to see Reggie got to just chill and didn't work for TNT during the game...

Tinsley looks like the ankle he tweaked feels good...

I SURE got tired of seeing Nash get easy penetration...

Bill was looking back to see who kept shouting, "YOU SUCK, WALTON!!!!!" (It wasn't me)

Two class acts...

I thought the framed one was a nice touch...

I waited a long time to see this moment. I savored it. Now I'm sad it's over.

I thought it was great that Reggie was dragging everybody out into the spotlight...They sure should have been in it more than the current bunch sitting on the bench.

Nice D from Nash...

Number 31 where it belongs....

I looked on the front page of the Star this morning and discovered that I was included in the picture of Reggie and family hoisting up the jersey.

My wife and I were sitting in Section 5, Row 12 Seats 11 and 12. Best seats for viewing I've ever had, at least for my taste. My seat was 12 rows up and was right on the mid-court line.

In the picture, I have on a yellow shirt (one of only 3 in the picture) and the rope for the jersey is adjacent to my right shoulder. Of course I'm totally obscured, but what the heck. At least I'm there.

In addition to the great Reggie pictures, I enjoy the Walton picture and the caption. It was not me yelling at Walton either, but I sure would have enjoyed it if I had heard it.

Haha remember last year in the playoffs when Jamaal had to run into the locker room in the middle of the game, and all the announcers thought he was hurt; then we get word back that his drawstring broke and his shorts were falling off? That was awesome haha.
