Jermaniac
03-29-2006, 08:15 PM
WTF is this they dont have a single shot blocker on their team, Al is 6-9 and JO only got the ball once in the low post. This team is stupid.

Aw Heck
03-29-2006, 08:16 PM
So...apparently the Pacers have no interior defense.

Lord Helmet
03-29-2006, 08:16 PM
Heh. Can't say I didn't see this coming.

Man do we look lazy on D.

I hate it how SJAX loves to shoot so many long distance shots, mostly 3´s, just like if he thinks he won the All-Star 3PT Contest. (Peja wannabee? :))

CableKC

I chose other.....the Pacers do not take Lottery teams seriously and end up losing when they get lazy on offense and defense.

Pacers are so lucky that there are no real competition for the playoff spots in the East.

The last few games we've really looked sluggish at times. (Barely trying to pass and no inside D.)

Granger should be all team defense. Nice D as usual.

Lord Helmet
03-29-2006, 08:32 PM
Could we please attempt to go in the post, rather than pass the ball to every player around the three point line......

What is wrong with our defense, 26 points in the first quarter to the lowly hawks. We need to get better if we want to advance in the playoffs.

True, as a basketball player myself i love to see PRO players like Danny. Because he is exactly what a Coach/Trainer wants to create with their puppets. Most players have worked hard to be best at one special thing. Danny is what you call a true basketball player "all around" and reminds me extremly much of Scottie Pippen...

Can someone explain this to me? How does Rick think when he takes out the best shooter in the league who is VERY hot with a Tied game and 1-2 mins left to halftime? Whats the strategy?

what I don't understand - how does Jones get 6 shots in 9 minutes and JO only 3 in the same time ?Cause our coach is a moron. Hawks got 70 points scored on them in the paint and we are trying to beat them by jacking up 3's.

Strategy is simple - to confuse opponents.

Whats the strategy? It says on his card that Peja needs to go out and thats how it goes. That is why no one on our team can ever score 35-40 points. If Rick Carlisle had Kobe on his team he would drive his career into the ground.

If Kobe was on this team, every play would be ISO TO KOBE! ISO TO KOBE!

No other player would ever touch the ball until he comes out.

If Kobe was on this team, every play would be ISO TO KOBE! ISO TO KOBE!

No other player would ever touch the ball until he comes out.No it wouldnt Kobe is too good to get plays run for him. You got to be a okay SG to get the ball, if Kobe was on this team Stephen Jackson would still touch the ball more then him.

Its quite clear that Peja is a better and more efficient scorer then Stephen yet Jack still gets more shots.

I am sure everyone will blame Tins for missing the three after J.O. passed up the better shot too.

With 10 seconds to go - You don't go with a jump shooter when You have a luxury of a superstar on the block. Now he has to hit these

they had a foul to give

who cares - do it again. Give it to JO and let him make a decision

Why didnt Peja take the last shot? How many threes did he make towards the end of the game? When a guy is 7 of 10 from behind the arc and 12 of 19 overall why would he not get the ball? I didnt see the game but can someone please explain this. Of all players we give it to Fred who has been shooting horrendously. I like Rick as a coach and all but i do question him quite a bit.

GO!!!!!

On that last shot JO was not supposed to get the ball, once against just like the Pistons game no one could get open and Tins had to throw the ball in late once again.

CableKC
03-29-2006, 10:41 PM
For those that actually watched the game....what was everyone else doing on the floor?

Was there anyone that could have gotten a good look at a shot?

More importantly...what was SJax, Tinsley, Peja or JONeal doing at that time?

317Kim
03-29-2006, 10:41 PM
JO originally was supposed to take the last shot, he missed, we rebound, Fred ended up with it he shot time expired he missed.

Fred's been taped up and he hasn't been the same since that Knicks game when he got hurt. First game back in 3 games and he did ok.

Jermaniac
03-29-2006, 10:42 PM
