Can we ever have a team firing on all cylinders at once?

The Shaq Stopper is here.

03-27-2006, 08:48 PM
Damn Peja, 0-4 out of the gate.

Jermaniac
03-27-2006, 08:49 PM
Jack is defending Wade like a damn beast.

Nice give and go by Jo and Peja

Hicks
03-27-2006, 08:50 PM
Well so far we're getting the same great looks we got against Philly. That's a good sign. Peja's getting great looks especially; and JO did a great job of finding him for that layup. I already really like those two together offensively.

NaptownBound
03-27-2006, 08:50 PM

Any other player would get continuation, **** off, ref.

rexnom
03-27-2006, 08:54 PM
Wow, I really think what Jack said earlier is true. Defenses are going to be focusing on Peja and JO. Meanwhile we have another capable 20pt scorer...and he's taking advantage of it.

2 things...

1) if the homecourt gift shop doesn't make those Danny G. t-shirts.. dammit i will.
and i'm going to sell them on Pennsylvania and make a killing!!!

2) i like what Jermaine did when he got that dunk. he caught the ball, faced up, drove the ball and finished. i would like him to do more of that. it puts immediate pressure on the defense to react.

It looks like Carlisle may have settled in on his 8 man rotation. Maybe if Pollard or Foster gets into foul trouble?

I would hope that with Harrison's size....that Carlisle should use him for at least 4 good fouls to see what he can do against the Heat's frontline without Shaq in the lineup.

Udonis Haslem is a punk b***h, 10 times out of 10, without Shaq standing there, he's not gonna bark up that f***ing tree.

Shaq acts like he's the master bodyguard enforcer, f*** him too, he should have stayed the f*** out of that, and let Haslem try to back up his own f***ing mouth.

Hell, when they got their arms locked up, Jermaine wasn't even looking at Haslem, before he tried to get all thug style up in his face, so I don't know what he was trying to prove there.

I dunno guy. If it was just the choke I think there would be nothing done, but for any of the national writers following this game, he's choked someone, essentially tried to injure another player, and then chewed out a ref about it 10 seconds later. Gonna be very hard for the league to ignore a consistent pattern of dirty play for the first half.
