well Saras fans, he gets his chance again tonight, that didn't take very long.

I'm not rooting against Mel, but the sinus stuff brings back memories of the one we do not mention and migraines.

Hope the team plays well, and get a W.

sweabs
03-21-2006, 08:55 PM
Wow...could these sinus problems be something related to a larger problem? I mean, are they supposed to be occurring this often?

On a more positive note, I'm happy for Sarunas. I don't like him collecting DNP's each night...so I hope he can make the most out of his time tonight.

That play right there is why Saras hasn't been playing. He was not where he was supposed to be defensively. He wasn't following the Pacers defensive game plan and Jackson gets a wide open three because of it.

He does that all the time. It isn't that he's a poor defender, it's that he doesn't follow the game plan.

Slick Pinkham
03-21-2006, 09:42 PM
Having Sarunas guard Bobby Jackson is like trying to haul water in a paper bag.

A paper bag with a hole in it, even, so that it doesn't hold up for anywhere near 24 seconds

And he still keeps jacking em up! I know he is streaky, but comon?? It gota end soon, if he really is "sreaky" then he should make next games 50 Shots in a row to even up his normal Percentage (which is 40% :unimpress)

If You are a volume shooter - You better be a great player or Your team will be paying many, many times. If Your first option is a volume shooter who is not that good - the team can't be good either. If that is Your only option = You live with it. If You have other options and You still keep him as a first option - You might want to check coach's sanity.

Yeah, that, and the fact that we've scored 2 points this quarter.

Ah yeah, but im talking about Pīs overall Defense. Specially last 4 games.

for as long as anthony stojakovic runs the point, this team is headed exactly nowhere or NIT at best. every single person knows it yet...

it's like if I offered you a 100% chance to win $30 or a 50% to win $100. What would you take?

Just play Sarunas, sort it out and then make the right moves during summer damn it...

Anthony who?

The NIT?

Who's shooting 100%? Runi?

Peja in, (they hope he scores a bit so the Grizzlies dont hold the record for the bigest lead in NBA history?)

I have a feeling that if it had been announced that JO is out for the season, we would be tanking it out of the playoffs about right now.

I hate to say it, but that sounds like something I'd like to see happen. Honestly, what is going to be accomplished by making the playoffs this year? The Pacers would go as far as the second round, at best. You might as well get a lottery pick. I think this team needs to look VERY different next year anyway. There's definitely some problems with this team, even when healthy.

Gill for 3!

I think that makes him our high scorer now.

i'm just trying to say that if AJ thinks he is Stojakovic, well he is not and with him the team is gonna be for damn just National Invitational Tournament level.

by 100% i mean that if i give $30 guaranteed (think AJ's performing) or offer 50% (Sarunas playing)probability that you win $100 (expectation 0.5*$100=$50) what would you choose?

2 points.

The record for fewest points in the fourth quarter is 6.

Kings had a 0-20 from field in the 4th in Utah this season. We lost that game so I feel Your pain

Honestly, using that analogy, I take the $30 every time.

Jack has gotta be cringing from the bench right now. He knows that if Gill gets hot, he could surpass Jack in shooting percentage.

then it means you're risk averse, and probably the whole pacers organization is because if you chose the second option over a few tries you would have $50 bucks not $30. you can never win big if you don't go for broke, it's very simple.

You didn't say "over a few tries." And there's no gurantee you'll EVER win using the second option. I take something over nothing every time.

i know, status quo is very convenient, but that is also the reason risk averse pacers ain't winning

PACERS ARE SMARTER THAN YOUR AVERAGE BEARS!!! :-p

It's a shame that the Grizzlies stole our pic-a-nic basket, because I can't very well use this picture after a 30 pt. loss.....:(
