Per NBADraft.net:

20. Indiana Josh Boone 6-10 237 PF UConn Jr.

Strengths: Long, explosive bigman ... Blue collar guy, does the dirty work to help his team win ... Has a great attitude, plays hard, wants to improve ... Strong defensively ...

Weaknesses: Limited offensively ... Scores a majority of his baskets on dunks, put backs and shots around the basket ... Struggles from the free throw line ... Can get down on himself when things aren't going well, needs to become better composed ... Not a superstar prospect, his upside is limited somewhat by his offensive shortcomings ... Needs to develop better offensive post moves ... Must develop a consistent mid range jump shot ...

Don't we have two of these guys already? If we're taking a PF, i'd much rather see if we can move up a few spots to get Tiago Splitter. Or hope he falls.

nbadraft.net does not consider teams' needs till it's very close to the draft. They usualy start doing that once the lottery winners are clear.

There's no sense for them in doing that earlier. Positions change, as well as players' value/willingness to participate in the draft.

Too soon to start projecting the draft, isn't it? I mean, besides the fact that we don't know who's in, doesn't a lot of positioning depends on how guys do in March Madness?

I say we all gather up all the lists before the draft and cross out every player that appears on them going to the Pacers. When's the last time any of the lists have picked the player chosen by the Pacers?

With the [gibbity]th pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, the Indiana Pacers select Rudy Fernandez.....

Honestly? Probably Bender. We didn't think we were going to have the #5 pick, but he was projected to go that high.

Actually I think the last time most were right was when Larry Bird was named coach and most predicted (correctly) that the Pacers would take Providence forward Austin Croshere.

True that. Redick? Trade up? Bird once said Reddick was the best shooter
since himself.
Trade a 07 1st rounder for a shot at Reddick?

See my sig. Hicks is a stud.

Nope, that would be too confusing. Especially since Hicks would go all Michael Bolton and hate the guy.

OK, I heard some interest in Roby earlier this season so I checked out a few of Colorado's games. They lost two of the three, both because of absolute choke jobs by Roby, and barely won the third game when a teammate tipped in his miss at the end of the game. No thanks. We already have plenty of players that forget to bring it when the clock winds down.
