Kravitz on mend after surgery

Star report

Bob Kravitz, The Indianapolis Star's sports columnist, is recovering from a procedure to clear a heart blockage.

Kravitz underwent surgery Thursday at the Indiana Heart Hospital. Doctors placed four stents to keep the arteries open. He's expected to go home today.

Kravitz, who joined The Star in 2000, will not be writing columns for a couple of weeks during his recovery, said Tim Wheatley, assistant managing editor for sports.

I hope he is feeling well and doesn't have any complications.

Get Well Krav!

I've met Kravitz a few times. He seems like a laid back, pretty funny guy. I hope he's doing well.

Get well, Bob.

But don't hurry back. ;)

Get well soon.

I hope the guy gets well, but I also hope the Star can find another columnist to work with Bob. I'm sick of this 1 columnist crap.

Yeah I hope his health improves. Maybe after this his perception and writing will too.
