I figured the other threads with similar topics are quite popular and since I watch way too much TV this one stood out as the only What Did you Last... thread not yet posted (at least not yet found). Post what the Last TV show you watched was.

Mr. E: "Son, when we took you in as an exchange student, you became our responsibility! An we're concerned about this gang of roughings (spe?) you hang out with."
Fez: "They are my friends!"
Mr. E : "That's exactly what they want you to think! Now we're not inflexible, we looked the other way when you started wearing cologne! But now, you've brought the devil's music into our home!"
He holds up a KISS album.
Fez: "Oh no that is not the devil's music, it is Eric's!"
Mr .E: "Rebecca, show the boy. Now listen to what happens when she plays it backwards."
She plays it backwards.
Fez: "That cannot be good for the record!"
Mr. E: "There it is! Devil loved me, Devil lives! It's clear as day!"
Fez laughs.
Mr. E: "What's funny?"
Fez: "In my language, the record just said : 'I want to sex your monkey!' Which I have never done!"

The Office, loved the ending too.

I have a love - hate relationship with this show. The Michael character is so irritating it's hard to watch sometimes, but I guess that's part of the appeal for most. I love the Jim and Pam characters chemistry, finally he grew a pair. I thought he was just going to tell her he was transferring, great surprise.

Veronica Mars

I wish this show was on ABC. That's a show I really need a recap of. I get lost when it comes to the Fitzpatrick's, and when Meg's Dad was mentioned last night, I was like, "****, I completely forget about them!"It's easy to get lost sometimes, so many characters and subplots going on the same time. I'm obsessed with this show so I watch every episode at least twice, watched the last one 4 times.

I'd would have also loved to see how Dick would have reacted, his character is so oblivoius to anything but partying and chasing p*ssy. I love his character, but maybe from all that happened he'll have a little more depth next season. Hope Mac's character is back too.

Just started the first season of American Dad...

The other day someone condensed what I'd been thinking since American Dad started and Family Guy came back.

Family Guy gets cancelled.

Seth creates American Dad to "bring it back" with "new" characters, but the same style of humor/stories. Contracts are put in place.

Family Guy comes back, but now Seth is committed to doing both.

Since they came (back), both have been about half as funny as Family Guy was the first 3 years, because Seth's attention/jokes/stories is/are being diffused between two shows instead of all of it being put into Family Guy.

Thx for the info. I originally got into the show by watching season one on DVD. The way they ran the show this year by showing some eps. on Tues., some on Wed., some repeats and my schedule made it impossible to follow all the plot threads. Good to know I'll be having some pleasurable viewing during the dog days of Summer.

The 4400

A little shocked that they killed Lily. But then, it was pretty obvious they didn't know what to do with her character. Tippy Hedren did a great job acting like her, though.

Also surprised that Matt Ross is so maniacal. Takes Collier's return in stride and tells Isabelle something that makes her compare herself to Stalin and Pol Pot? Wow.

Arrested Development
Mr Show
Daily Show / Colbert (you can't have one without the other)

for those wondering, the Scrubs delay is for two reasons 1) because of the NBC NFL coverage messing up the Sunday night lineup and 2) because the last season was the most successful creatively and with ratings (NBC's reasoning).

I love the Office too (if 'Michael' makes you squirm and almost sick to your stomach he's doing his job...for me, watching Michael at Improv class was the most nausiating because going thru Second City I remember a guy in my class like that and Steve probably did too).

Also love SVU... used to be a LAW & ORDER purist until Jerry Orbach left the show, its become fairly unwatchable now sadly. I always felt Dennis Farina was the wrong choice to replace "Lenny" ... in fact, I actually think Gary Sinese would have been better on L&O and Farina better on CSI:NY.

Dog Bites Man, not for everyone, but I liked it.
This show is awsome! This is comic genius. Four outstanding improv actors spend part of the show interacting with eachother as fictional news reporters. Then they go out in charector and film their fake news show with people who have no idea that their news channel does not exist and that they are actors. Check it out on Comedy Central Wendsday nights at 10 30. They replay episodes through out the week aswell.

Nash did you see the episode this week? It was my favorite so far. The nerdy guy going out and doing that absolutly horrible comedy routine and then trying to convince that real life comedy agent to sign him. If she only knew how funny he was actually being by pretending to be so horribly un-funny. Also the Korean improv actor slapping the producer guy in front of the unsuspecting buisness man was pricless. I rewinded a couple times just to see it again. You may also enjoy the show Upright Citizens Brigade starring Amy Poehler (now the star of SNL) and "Kevin" from Dog Bites Man. You can find episodes on Youtube.com. They have not released it yet on DVD.

Obnox and I just finished watching the 200th episode of Stargate: SG-1. While it was far from a perfect episode (dragged in several places), there was a TON of jokes and references. They mentioned and/or parodied:

Star Trek
Star Wars
Firefly (Woohoo!)
Farscape
Back to the Future
Zombie movies
Wizard of Oz
Gilligan's Island
Team America: World Police
Teen dramas/reboots
Shaft

They poked fun at slashers, shippers, writers, fans, actors, opening credits... dear God I don't think they missed anything, although I'm sure I forgot to mention many things. If you like sci-fi, try to catch a repeat!
