What is our record against teams with ex-Pacers on it? It almost seems like an auto-loss, no matter how bad the team.

I agree.

Tonight's loss really had nothing to do with the fact that Jalen Rose played well..We continually fouled them, we continually gave them wide open 3s, and we continually gave them wide open layups and dunks. Not only that, only 3 players decided to show up tonight with those players being Peja, Stephen, and Hulk. That was one of the worst defensive performances I've seen in my entire life. And why put Freddie back in there when hes injured and obviously can't throw a brick into the ocean? He got beat on defense numerous times..It was an overall terrible defensive effort. This just proves why we need a low post player like Jermaine. Eddy Curry absolutely abused our low post men.

The problem is J.O won't even guard him. Pollard will guard him, Harrison will guard him, even Foster or Croshere will guard him before J.O does. J.O rarely defends the really good low-post players

But J.O. is often there for weak side help to swat the ball into the rafters when one of the aforementioned bigs breaks down in defense.

Well Ok I agree with that. But I don't think that was Jerm's point

Regardless when you have a shot blocker in the game like that the defense improves. Look at the Pistons, they will repeatedly just flush the opponents into the lane where one of the Wallaces finishes the job. You can credit the defender who leads the guy into the help defense, or you can credit the weakside help, bottom line is the defense as a whole improves.

It isnt I'm telling you JO can guard Curry, he was on Shaq the first game we played against the Heat and if he can guard Shaq he can guard Curry.

JO will guard Curry because Rick can't resist going small ball against the Knicks. He'll have Jermaine at 5 with Fred at the 4 within 5 minutes of tip.

We play the Knicks but I doubt that Jermaine will be playing. One, because I don't know that he'll be healthy enough. Two, because even if he is do we really want to waste his energy on the Knicks? And third, Jermaine will be so out of playing shape by then I'm not even sure he could guard my grandmother.

Fred at the 4.

Are you saying that Fred would be guarding Curry, or are you questioning Fred at the 4? Cause that's where he was playing the last 4 minutes tonight.

If we're gonna say that it doesn't matter when they're not trying why are we even talking about this game?

I just hope this tidbit of a fact won't be in effect on March 17.
