3ballinhoop
03-07-2006, 08:03 PM
Jasikevicius in: 2 plus for the Pacers.
Jasikevicius out: 6 plus for the Pacers.
One minute later: 2 up for the Kicks.

If you check at 82games.net, Saras has the third best plus/minus statistics on the team.

With recent threads about increasing forum level, I ask myself if direct insults and "stfu" is the right way to go.

Moses
03-07-2006, 08:03 PM
Freddie with a sprained left thumb and is questionable.

cramerica
03-07-2006, 08:04 PM

Danger back in.

03-07-2006, 08:04 PM

Jermaniac
03-07-2006, 08:10 PM
Damn we are playing like crap, against the Knicks. If we just played smart basketball we would be up 10. But smart basketball doesnt get on sport center so that wont work for our guys.

CableKC
03-07-2006, 08:11 PM
We suck...we should not be down by 1 point against the Knicks....

Fireball Kid
03-07-2006, 08:13 PM
We give up just 12 points in the 1st Q, than we give up 32 points in the 2nd Q. Pathetic.

5 points is great....but he's 2-7 so far and has only drawn 2 FT shots?

the best thing You have going on tonight is the fact that knicks will self destruct at some point of the second half bicause they are Knicks and Knicks always find to way to lose. And if there is no way - they make one up

Jasikevicius left the floor with the Pacers leading 29-24 Jermaniac.
After that, you can't really blame him for watching the Knicks take the lead with 7 points from the bench, but rather the guys that really play manyminutes and shoot the ball bad like Johnson, Jackson or Peja. I really get fed up with reading Jermaniacs agressive posts on this board.

I just ask myself if you don't, from time to time when feeling those writing sensations in your fingers, feel a bit, let's say, like the guy that can't answer the simple question in the trivia show? Here's the scoop Jermboy: you might not care what people think about you and your writing production on an internet board, and you really enjoy you doing what you do best here, but there is a large number of people reading who without doubt prefer posts to not contain made up facts or the letters stfu.

Putting this puppy away at last I hope...

every Joe dirt has a good game against us, but then again if we supported the New Mexican Dingo's we'd still think that every Joe dirt has a good game against us, just the way it is when ya support a team

I might give Peja 2 Mill more a year, just for this game alone

Moses
03-07-2006, 08:49 PM
Jermaniac really, for the most part, never has any idea on what he is talking about. No use getting upset about it.

No. Crawford was WIDE open. Freddie was nowhere in the building near him. It's one thing to help, but the idea is to just offer a bit of help, not completely switch guys your guarding.

Finally, Freddie is out of the game. Getting beat on defense and 0-7 from the field. Not what I like to call good numbers. The guy cant catch the ball to shoot it and our coach is playing his *** over the best shooter in the NBA. Rick Carlisle is amazing. Way to go Ricky amazing job tonight.

I think we're getting tired as a team. They last few games we haven't played hot. Small injuries are starting to crop up. This lineup is like band-aid but in truth we need the big guy (JO) back pronto.

I think that the wierd rotation that is going on - cause players to neve get rythm. Somtimes playing too many guys for too much time can cause problems

It's like we saw last year. These tricks of shifting rotations and stuff that Carlisle pulls out of his bag are great and all but they don't last. In the end we have no real PF on the roster outside of Jeff Foster that is healthy. Our backup pg play has been inconsistent. Peja and Jack are our only consistent scorers and Peja doesn't get the ball enough and Jack's shot isn't always on. The team needs the stabilizing force that is its superstar. Also, Jamaal should help a lot, like he did last year during the time Jack, Ron, and JO were suspended, Reggie and AJ were injured, and DD hadn't been signed. Maybe not in the same way but someone needs to control the game.

I'm always afraid of the Knicks, for some reason they always play well against us. Add in the Jalen Rose and Eddy Curry factor who also play well against us and you get this mess.

2 things I don't understand are:

taking out the "hot hand" - I have seen it several times and I don't get it

playing a player 6 minutes streches. Player can never get rythm or get hot. Needs to miss several shots to get in rythm. Just wierd.

I think Carlisle uses "set rotations." Meaning he wants each player to play x amount of minutes. No more, no less. While it is questionable occasionally, considering we have a rotation of 9 players (until JT comes back fully), it does keep the minutes in check for everyone. Despite his best efforts, however, it just looks like Rick hasn't been able to pull it off.

Rofl Tinsley learned a move from Fred Jones..The jump turnover.Yeah and Fred Jones goes back and does him one better. Jump in the air hang for 2 seconds turn to Crawford and hit him in the chest with the pass. If Craw was on our team that would have been a great pass.

It was a blowout after all

this might be the worst loss of the season - I don't know

from an outsider point of wiev

rotation is very, very strange
substitution pattern is so complicated - I can't figure it out
Never understand how a bench player can shoot 0-7 (and counting) and still be on the floor.
Knicks had a best game of the season
Everyone can shoot ant any time - that might work for Pistons and noone else

Nice to see I'm not the only one who absolutely hates Rick's set rotations.

Bad teams always seem to have their "best game of the season" against us.

I always though that the objective is to win a game by any mean neccesary.

when player X has set number of minutes - can he suck trough all that time without being substituted ?

If You are fighting for PO spots You play 8 max and Your starters will be OK with 40 minutes per night. It has been done before.

I learned something new tonight - i guess (set rotation)

Is anyone really surprised that this was coming? Like we didn't luck out against the sixers and wizards and like we deserved that celts game. No. It just shows that we are human. Very human. We can't play without two of our top players forever. As of right now I am officially in "I miss you like the deserts miss the rains, JO!" mode.

Not just agains pacers

Kings lost to Knicks too and Bobcats and Magic and blazers (at home) and so on and so on

too depresing to count

A good team beats the bad team by setting the tone and never letting up

A team that pretends to be good - underestimates bad teams and loses occasionally because of that
