Hi Mates,

We, Liths, still haven't introduced ourselves properly.

We had no relevant media material for that. Now, there is some. Song was written for this years silly european song contest (where we represent our land silliest of all).

I hope it will help You to get some extra info about us and our Motherland, that is overnineseas:)

Maybe, in the future You will "close eyes" on some upstart behaviour of ours in this cozy forum. And Saras of course :)

Welkoum!

Julius,

This stuff was entertaining and interesting. I was struck by "inculto" group name and the way they incoroportae latin music into their own style. Does this reflect the general popularity of latin music or is there more interest/influence of Spanish language and Hispanic cutlure, as well? Also, who's the dude in your avatar?

Oh, how I miss Eurovision. I remember sitting in Moscow watching Eurovision with my nephew a few years ago and being surprised that he became nationaly offended by the low scores that the Russian entry recieved. Well, I hate popsa, but that Alsu was hot! In terms of hotness (usually a deciding factor in Eurovision), I vote for the Greek this year:

That Latin flavour that "inCulto" has in it's music is because that the frontman (singer and band leader) has repatriated from Columbia. We have many Liths in South America (even Bogotta's Mayor was Lithuanian for almost 10 last years).

and of course it is because of general populiarity of Latin music it self.
