Actually Saras has gotten off to a great start this game offensively.

Lord Helmet
03-01-2006, 08:29 PM
My God have you ever seen a team that can't box out? I mean you're in an advantage when you're at the line, you are SUPPOSED to get the rebound.

Moses
03-01-2006, 08:30 PM
Wow..we are letting Etan Thomas, the human brick machine, score on us with ease.

Which leaves who exactly at the backup two spot?

Plus, we've seen Fred play the 1, and it's ugly.

Aw Heck
03-01-2006, 08:31 PM
Someone tell Eddie Gill to never, ever, shoot again.

Lord Helmet

So lets play Fred at pg, eventhough it's ugly, and play Gill and sg, eventhough it's ugly.

Again, who are you going to play at the backup 2 if fred plays pg?

Aw Heck
03-01-2006, 08:34 PM
I hate to keep piling it on, but it's just too easy.

Eddie Gill gives me hope of making it to the NBA. I could do what he's done so far.

03-01-2006, 08:34 PM
somebody needs to get a rebound

Moses
03-01-2006, 08:35 PM
Let's just rebound the ball. We allowed the Washington Wizards, who have a bag of cheetohs and a can of pringles starting at the PF and C spot, out-rebound us in the first quarter. Come on..

Jermaniac
03-01-2006, 08:36 PM
So lets play Fred at pg, eventhough it's ugly, and play Gill and sg, eventhough it's ugly.

Again, who are you going to play at the backup 2 if fred plays pg? WHO GIVES A ****? Play Peja at the back up 2. Play Jack 48 minutes. Play Saras at the 2, Play Danny at the 2. Anyone will do better then Eddie Gill. SMH Back up 2.

Granger can play backup 2,3, and 4. Just get Gill out the game.

Moses
03-01-2006, 08:42 PM
Sarunas has no fouls at all. Why isn't he playing the full 48 tonight? Gill is just launching up bombs from mid-court.

Sarunas is the next best PG on the team, no way in hell is Gill better, you usually start you're best you have avaliable, so that's why he started.

Also, Sarunas hasn't had that good of defense, but he's guarding Arenas. Not one of our PG's would stop him.

Sarunas is having a decent offensive game, though.

Normally I'd be more optimistic and sunshine brigadish, But we are undermanned tonight and playing a 5v6 if you count one of the refs as their players. Who knows though? The Wizards are terrible at holding leads because they jack up about as many 3's as the Warriors do and generally start missing them in the second half.

Lithfan
03-01-2006, 08:57 PM

CableKC

I think traditionally....the Wizards have always outrebounded us with the likes of Jamison, Heywood and Thomas. Even JONeal has problems as they usually send Haywood to cover him.

03-01-2006, 09:00 PM

We've lost Johnson and now Harrison is questionable for a return. (Sprained ankle.)

Moses

By the way, Sarunas is playing great. Even if we get stomped, this will get all the Runi haters to shut the hell up for a while. At this point, I wouldn't mind watching our team have a 3 point contest between Stephen, Peja, and Runi.

I wouldn't mind that.......but I would also like to see Foster and Granger get involved in the offense.

You would figure that Carlisle can give more then 7 minutes to Granger considering that 1/2 the roster is out with injuries.

That doesn't make any sense, but is not without precedent. Every now and then Carlisle just plain doesn't play Granger, for no discernable reason.

Oh and we did see vintage Sarunas..Just not how I thought it would be. The guy played incredible and nobody needs to down play this by saying that AJ would have done the same. Both guys are good and I'm very happy to see that when given the opportunity, all 3 of our PGs can step it up.
