Frank's Fast Facts (useless stats to know and say)

Ok so here are some facts that don't always tell everything,
But are interesting (at least to me )nonetheless on a slow Monday.

I will try to add some more when I can.

Pistons and Pacers are both 7-3 in their last 10 games

Pacers are 4th in the NBA in points allowed at just 90.6 pts a game allowed.

Pacers are also 4th in the NBA in Opponets FG% 42.757%

Indiana is 18th at forcing TO's at 13.7 a clip .
And at 15.2 TO's for Indiana, only 5 teams turn the ball over more than that.

Detroit is the best in the league in not turning it over at at only 10.8 a game, but 23rd in the league at forcring turnovers at 13 per.

Pacers are only 20th in Assists Per game, but 5th best in the league in assists allowed at only 18.1 a game.

Pacers are 6th in the NBA in overall Point differential average. at 2.9 + a game

Is this one really true?

If so, that means we're winning games big but not doing well in close games. Would be nice to learn (or remember) how to close-out tight games before the playoffs start...

Bingo!
In games decided by 20 or more points we are 10-4.
In games decided by 5 or fewer points we are 4-13.

Ah, that brings back great childhood memories..... It's been decades since I heard that exact same comment.

Entourage and Deadwood are very good shows. Don't sleep on them.

Now I have caught Entourage from time to time..It's pretty good, funny. sometimes predictable but overall a good watch.

The other shows I just have never taken the time to follow.
Just like The Wire I had heard great things and I just missed out on that one.

Hmm well I will try and sit down and catch it this week if I can.
Hopefully with the several HBO Dish channels I can find it one time or another.

I had a Tony Soprano avatar on about 2 weeks ago as well, and realized the same thing. I don't want to be constantly reminded!!!

Mar.12 can't come soon enough. I can't wait.
