Harrison's playing well so far.

Jefferson's owning the SF matchup though.

bulldog
02-26-2006, 06:21 PM
I don't think so...Jefferson's not playing very good D, Peja just can't do anything with it. You're paid to shoot Peja, not penetrate.

Jermaniac
02-26-2006, 06:21 PM
Jeff Foster is the worst offensive player in the NBA bar none.

Watched some Euroleague game tapes of Saras, and I noticed something...now that he's in the NBA, he has to rush his shot a little bit to get it over guys. May explain why he's shooting poorly.

Everytime Pollard shoots a damn jumpshot I want to throw my TV out of the window.

Finally get a nice offensive flow going and this idiot puts up a J from the FT line.

Or he's not open as often as in Euroleague. They passed alot there. Everyone, including Maccabi's center. They played very fast passing basketball, thus were able to have good positions before shooting.

Now he's often shooting just to make the defense of oposing team to spread a bit, not because he's truly open.

On the YES network they're saying Carter might be out for the game.
What's even funnier is that since it's the Nets network, earlier Marc Jackson (broadcaster and former player) went on about how tough Vince Carter was. Ha!

And nice hit Peja!!!

Looks like I picked a good game to do homework during. From the little I saw of the 1st, I could tell we were going to handle this team. I'd be nice to watch us play well, but ah well. That's what Peck and UB's game reports are for. :)

It's obvious how much we miss JO. It's too predictable: most of our offense consists of isos and guys coming off curls. That last set we just ran consisted of curls for both Peja and Jones.
We need a few more options. We'll have the post when Jermaine comes back...also, Sarunas seems like he might be a good pick-and-roll pg. Maybe one of the Euros can tell me, was he a good pick and roll pg in Europe? I wish we'd see it more.

Sarunas is worthless. Please put AJ back. Please. THANK YOU, The guy does absolutley NOTHING when he is out there, NOTHING. Well he does let his man score on him everytime he feels like but thats another story. The guy talks so much crap about our team and how he doesnt want to play for us, if he says anything about how anyone on our team plays again I want him traded. The only player he is better then on this team is Eddie Gill and he isnt better then him by much.

Sarunas is like the... 5th scoring option right now? So when he is in there he makes sure he makes some passes while the starting PG rests.
And he is doing just that, 15 mins, 3 assists, 2 rebounds & some FG attempts... i dont see the problem?

He is starting to learn to use his mass well. He also had some good blocks

This reminds me of something Rick Barry said about how the Ws could get an offensively challenged player like Adonal Foyle to make his shots........you have to get the ball to him in the right place in order for him to score. Maybe Harrison should be used more as an offensive option against teams that have smaller front lines. It sounds like its a good idea to get the ball to places where he is most comfortable with.......and not let him try to create his own shots.

I remember watching the Pistons game...and I saw him try to do some fancy move that I could imagine SJax or JONeal doing against Sheed ( of all people ).

Feed the ball to Harrison when the matchups are favorable....don't let him try to do it on his own....he's just not that good.
