Some good Terrance Stansbury moments.

His "staue of liberty dunk" is on the list. The theory is he named the dunk after the pitcuresque style in which he dunked.

Me, I think he named it after his defense.

Stansbury wins the first round (1984-86) in an upset!

Are they gonna make a list for like every great thing ever. This is a little ridiculous.

Jordan's leaning windmill from 1987 also moves on to round 2.

Kenny Walker's 1989 360 windmill moves on in its bracket......

JR Rider's between-the-legs dunk wins the 1992-1994 bracket.

Brent Barry's foul-line dunk moves on from the 95-97 bracket.

I realize Michael is the best player ever, and his dunks at the time were the best. But Carter and Richardson's dunks are better than MJ's ever were

VC's between-the-legs bounce dunk (my favorite dunk of all time) moves on.

I'd put MJ's leaning windmill up against anything JRich ever did.

Speaking of JRich, his bounce-pass reverse windmill moves on.

That was easily my 2nd-favorite dunk, also.

I don't agree. But I will say that Jordan may have been the prettiest dunker ever, so if this is being judged on the fiquire skating scale, then OK, MJ is the best dunker ever, but I tend to like more physicalness.

Fred Jones dunk was great also

A 2nd Pacer moves on into the 2nd round....

Fred Jones's bounce-pass dunk is the last dunk to move on.

And Fred Jones takes a group.

Thank God TNT has the allstar game and all related events. If ESPN had it, I just couldn't watch any of it.

That freddy dunk still looks nasty. The full extention and the force he used to throw it down.

I still say that Jordan leaning windmill is really damn impressive.

Jordan knocks off stansbury.

Was this even a legit matchup? lol.

JR Rider takes out Kenny Walker. With a revolver and a baseball bat.

JR Rider vs Jordan is the final matchup in the "old scool" bracket.

I personally think Vince Carter's dunk is the best I've ever seen.

Yeah, that bounce-between-the-legs windmill was ridiculous.

Vince Carter obliterates Brent Barry in round 2:

Richardson bounces Freddie Jones in the other bracket.

"new school" bracket finals: Vince vs. JRich.

The "final 4": JRich, VC, Rider and Jordan.

Unclebuck

Richardson's is better than Freddie's. Even though I'm biased, I have to go with Jrich

Jordan beats rider in the old-school finals, by 1 vote.

Carter inches by JRich by the samer margin.

Carter vs Jordan in the finals.

I was with Charles on that pick.

Although I so see where Kenny and EJ are coming from with the Jordan, "Leaner" .

Please, any contest Jordan is in, he's gonna win. There could be the Greatest Clean-up after a Gatorade spill, and Jordan would still win.

Morons just said Fred lost the dunk contest that year. What a moron.

Well, he probably should have. The general consensus was that Richardson's dunks were superior, and Jones pretty much won on technicalities.

JRich's is easily the best and most difficult......

Until you see what AI2 is going to do tonight (though if he doesn't pull it off, Nate will put on a good enough show to save to your TIVO)

I'm suprised that Carter's between the legs dunk moved on as far as it did. I really didn't get what was so great about it.

I think that the dunk JRich had where he bounced it then took it between his legs and slamed it with one hand should have been voted much futher than it did. My jaw still drops every time I see that dunk. He reversed that with one hand.......that was just flat out ridiculous. That will always be a favoirte of mine.

Vince Carter's performance in the Dunk Competition a few years ago was the most impressive display I've ever seen. Between the legs and spin, hang from his elbow, and didn't he cover his eyes on one of them? That stuff was ridiculous. Probably the coolest thing about it was him looking into the camera, waving his arms back and forth saying, "It's over!" because it was so completely over, and everyone knew it.

I liked Kenny Walker's 360 better than J.R. Rider's dunk, and Vince's 360 is better than the between the legs, and was out way too early. J-Rich should have been in the finals as well.

To me the Vince 360 was easily his best dunk. Jaw dropping stuff.
