PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Basketball's Dennis Rodman says he wants to return to the NBA at age 44.

Rodman is playing in England these days and told reporters there that the Portland Trail Blazers and the Toronto Raptors offered him tryouts.

The Blazers told The Associated Press today they have no interest in Rodman.

Rodman has just completed a three-game stint with the Brighton Bears of the British Basketball League.

He won five NBA Championships with the Chicago Bulls, and became known for his creative hair coloring and unorthodox offcourt antics.

Rodman was quoted as saying he wants to leave his last NBA game naked. That is why nobody will give him another chance. :)

SOMEBODY SHOULD give him a tryout...

...then when the 44 year old Rodman shows up after an all night drinking binge and gets totally taken to school by someone named Darko or Bruno, maybe just maybe he'll realize it's all over.

He'll quit when the media stops talking about him. Since the media will NEVER stop talking about old has-beens he'll be around FOREVER. :grumpy:

Before someone spots off his stats I called him a "has-been" not a "never was." There's a difference.
