I get them imported. Costs an arm and a leg too.

Not only do we have to wait weeks for the foods to cross the border, but upon arriving in my country, it takes an additional week or two for the dog sleds to arrive with the packages at the doorstep of my igloo.

Do you feel like the change in political power will make any difference with this? Now that you aren't required to spend 6 hours a day hugging a tree, it should really skyrocket Canadia's productivity. You should be able to pump out twice as many moose for dinner and export.

I agree - we could make a fortune from exporting the moose from around this area of town. Unless of course, some sort of "Mad Moose Disease" develops.

But how would you tell the difference between a normal Canadian and one with MMD? Would the one afflicted with MMD actually have a job?

He/she could. I think this new government is promising that people affected by MMD and other such food-related diseases should have every right to employment as the next Canadian.

Before, under the Liberal government, the Mad-Moosers (term we use to refer to those afflicted with MMD) were sent to perform manual labour out in the forests helping the lumberjacks transport wood and such. It was very tedious and strenuous work that mainly went unrecognized among the general Canadian public. In fact, they tried covering up the whole issue during the election, but the MAMMDD (Mothers Against Mad Moose Disease Discrimination) brought the issue to the forefront and probably helped swing the vote in favour of the Conservatives.

However, I think the new government is looking to exploit the Mad-Moosers strength, girth, and animalistic qualities and send them to the Canadian National Hockey Team to create some sort of uber-squad to compete in this years winter Olympics.

EDIT: Off-topic posts are yummy too.

Monkey brains.

Hard to get good fresh monkey brains.

Squirrel brains do nicely. Breaded. Like popcorn chicken.

And I don't know why they call it hamburger HELPER. It does just fine by itself. I'm kinda partial to tuna helper myself.
