The beauty of this game is that when we lose, there won't be an dissapointment.

BTW, We will lose this game, just making sure ya'll realize this. Jesus will score 32 points in the event we win, so just know this now if you're getting your hopes up.

Exactly. Reminds me of the early and mid 80's when you never really expected a win. Any time you DID win was a REALLY joyous occasion. When I would feel good the whole next day and feel like the Pacers were finally on their way. Yep, not much joy in those days.

The thing I'll substitute for victory in this games outcome will be if Chauncey Billups has an off night or Ben Wallace has under 10 rebounds. If we can also keep them under 100, like around 95, and we can score possibly 70, I'll be extremely happy.

Pacers should win this game. It's the 4th game in 5 nights for the Pistons. So I can guarantee the Pistons will look awful tonight. Last time they had a 4th in 5 nights they squeeked out a win against Portland at home. They'll be missing a lot of open shots, and they'll be a step slow on D. It happens on every back-to-back.

With all due respect, how can you say that? Our starting PG and starting PF are not going to play due to injury. Our starting SG just got out of the hospital (is he even playing tonight?). Our starting C just got back from injury. Our backup C has a bad back and may not make it through 1 quarter. We just added a new player to the team who barely knows the plays. We lost our starting SF in Artest who is a top 15 player and was central to our offense and maybe the best defender in the league......

the game still has to be played and there is always a chance. If You look for excuses before the game has even started - might as well stay in bed.
Any time You play at home with 3 days of rest against a team who is on 4th game in 5 nights - You like Your chances

Yes, there is definitely a chance we win this game. There is always a good chance when teams are overlooked. My problem with the statement was the "should beat them" part.

If Peja scores more than 30 pts we might win.

Peja 20
PG 20p 10a combined
Bench 50
3pt 40%
Win rebound by 5
Jack 50% FG

And its a done deal
